Call for Papers for the 7th New Historiography Youth Forum

The New Historiography Youth Forum, initiated by the editorial department of Historical Monthly, aims to provide a platform for young historical researchers to express their opinions, collide ideas, and promote the innovation and development of contemporary historical research. This forum has been held for six consecutive years (the first session is Nankai University in 2016, the second session is Nanjing University in 2017, the third session is Fujian Normal University in 2019, the fourth session is Hunan Normal University in 2020, the fifth session is Northwest University in 2021, and the sixth session is Zhuhai Campus of Beijing Normal University in 2023). In November 2024, the School of History and Culture of Southwest University and the editorial department of Historical Monthly will jointly host the "7th New Historiography Youth Forum". We warmly welcome young historians to participate.

All submissions will be reviewed and selected by the Expert Committee, and academic creativity is the only criterion. For the outstanding papers, the "Historical Monthly" will select the best papers.

1. Participants: Historical researchers under the age of 45

II. Submission Knowledge:

1. Young scholars engaged in the study of various dynasties and special topics in Chinese history and world history can submit papers, and the topic of the paper is self-proposed, and the number of words is not limited. The annotations are annotated in the form of annotations in the Historiography Monthly. At the end of the article, please indicate your name, gender, date of birth, work or study unit, job title, email address, telephone number and other information.

4. The organizer will review the papers and send an official invitation letter by E-mail in mid-October, and the list of selected candidates will be announced on the homepage of the editorial department of the Monthly Journal of History.
