The learning method Guo Yijie mentioned is a new humanoid robot motor skills learning method independently developed by the Innovation Center - "predictive enhanced imitation learning based on state memory".

"After the robot completes an action, it will be scored by the equivalent of a coach, and it will improve based on the score. Guo Yijie said that the process is carried out in the simulation engine of the simulation, and thousands of robots are trained in a scene of tens of thousands of square meters. 10 hours of training in this scenario is equivalent to 100 days of round-the-clock training for 1 robot in the physical world, which can make the robot learn efficiently and achieve a more robust, anthropomorphic, and generalized effect.

The "Tiangong" robot is equipped with multiple visual perception sensors, with a computing power of 550 trillion operations per second, and is equipped with a high-precision inertial measurement unit (IMU) and 3D vision sensors. In the case of blind vision, "Tiangong" can smoothly pass through slopes and stairs, and can also adjust the gait agile for stumbling and stepping on the air.

Guo Yijie said that the existing motor skill learning methods will be applied to the follow-up robot whole body action control and operation skills learning, so that the robot can both move and operate, and provide stronger movement capabilities for future scene services.

In addition, Tiangong can expand the computing power of 500TOPS to meet the application of large model algorithm development.

Liu Yizhang said that "Tiangong" is a general, basic, stable and reliable version of the robot, which can help more enterprises reduce repeated investment and research and development.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, Yizhuang currently brings together 110 robot ecological enterprises to form a whole industrial chain system of robots covering core components, complete machines and applications. In the next step, Beijing Yizhuang plans to formulate a three-year action plan for the humanoid robot industry, and prepare for the construction of a robot testing and evaluation center, a parts finishing center, a robot innovation exhibition center, etc., to form a good industrial ecology and create a new engine for development.
