Recently, a comprehensive support base of the Navy in the Eastern Theater focused on the construction of front-line treatment capacity and carried out quarterly training for backbone health services. They invited experts and professors from the Hospital Affiliated to the Naval Medical University to enhance their ability to provide front-line officers and men with war wounded care focusing on typical wounded treatment techniques on the battlefield at sea and through theoretical lectures, group discussions, practical skill operations, and actual combat simulation exercises.

"The complex situation of naval war injuries puts forward higher requirements for the treatment ability of grassroots health personnel. According to the leaders of the base, the trainees of the training are mainly grassroots health personnel and part-time health soldiers, and set up a list of primary, intermediate and advanced combat trauma treatment courses and training techniques, and carry out comprehensive drills on first-aid operations such as on-site first aid for officers and soldiers, emergency treatment of naval wounds, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, so as to temper the trainees' battlefield adaptability and disposal ability.

In addition, they also rely on the superior resources of the military and the locality, regularly select clinical military doctors to go to the 120 emergency center of the local tertiary hospital for training, and rely on the local Red Cross Society to carry out first-aid personnel rotation training, so as to realize resource sharing, platform co-construction, and scenario sharing, and lay the foundation for the next step to carry out the combat support task.
