On May 1, the release ceremony of "The History of Sweet Water Well" and the symposium of "One Family and Three Hearts" in Daheng Village were held in Gaolan Hotel. County leaders Peng Binjia, Wei Junyi, Jin Wenyu and Yu Jianwen were invited to participate in the event.
At the ceremony, Qu Xuezhong, editor-in-chief of "The History of Sweet Water Well", gave a detailed introduction to the process of writing the book, and Wei Zhouyang, the representative of the children of his hometown, congratulated the publication of "History of Sweet Water Well". One side of the water and soil raises one side of the people, and a volume of history tells a local situation. What is revealed between the lines of "The History of Sweet Water Well" is a nostalgia for looking back at the whole picture of the historical context, an answer sheet highlighting the high-quality development of the regional economy and society, and an expectation for local cultural innovation and creation, which has the functions of "information administration, education, and history".
It is understood that "The History of Sweet Water Well" is currently the only village history in Lanzhou with natural villages as the main body. The book consists of 11 chapters, 23 sections, more than 180,000 words, and more than 200 pictures. The content of the chapters includes: overview, long past, Sangzi feelings, hometown changes, cultural inheritance, rebuilding the Three Temples, hometown people, Tianshuijing memorabilia, corporate style, postscript, Gaolan County Party history research and county chronicle compilation office approval documents, etc.
During the event, the editorial board of "The History of Sweet Water Wells" presented "The History of Sweet Water Wells" to the city and county archives, and the leaders of the meeting awarded honorary certificates and medals to Xie Dengyu, chairman of Gansu Zuoming Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Co., Ltd., and Wei Sufang, chairman of Gansu Kunshi Human Resources Service Co., Ltd., and other six outstanding entrepreneurs in their hometowns.
To further promote rural revitalization, cultural revitalization is the key. Village history is an important carrier to retain the memory of the hometown, condense the hometown complex, and promote the harmony of the countryside. A village, with a village history, has a bond of inheritance, as well as a record of economic, social and cultural development, and opens up the wisdom of the people while retaining the memory. The publication and distribution of "Tales of the History of Sweet Water Well" will play a positive role in promoting the economic and cultural development of Daheng Village and lay a solid foundation for rural revitalization.
