2024 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it is also a key year to achieve the goals of the "14th Five-Year Plan". Li Wanyue, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the District Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Liu Chunnian, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, Deng Bo, member of the party group and deputy head of the district government, and Wang Jinsheng, deputy secretary and vice chairman of the party group of the district CPPCC, attended the meeting, and Deng Bo, deputy head of the district, addressed the conference. The speech pointed out that the CYL organizations at all levels in the region have made gratifying achievements in consolidating the party's mass foundation for young people, serving economic and social development, promoting the growth of young people into talents, and strengthening self-building. The vast number of league members and young people displayed their talents and fought bravely on all fronts and in their respective positions, wrote the youthful "struggle spirit" in the new journey of Liangzhou District's modernization, and practiced the solemn oath of "please rest assured that the party will strengthen the country with me". I hope that everyone will "be ambitious, illuminate the road of youth with ideals and beliefs, be diligent and studious, bloom the flowers of youth with excellent skills, work hard, show youth with hard work, and play the song of youth with new wind and righteousness", so that youth can add color to the times and add glory to the cause of the motherland.
The speech stressed: Party organizations at all levels in the region should fully understand the great significance of doing a good job in youth work under the new situation from the strategic perspective of ensuring that the party's cause is passed on from generation to generation and that there are successors, so as to create good conditions for young people to grow into talented people and for the Communist Youth League to carry out its work in a creative way. League organizations at all levels should closely focus on the central task and serve the overall situation, constantly explore the path and form of the League organization to play its role under the new situation, and unite and lead the vast number of young people to enthusiastically plunge into the vivid practice of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. League cadres at all levels should consciously practice the mass line, mingle with the vast number of young people, strive to be young friends, not young "officials", think more for young people and less for themselves, and strive to be outstanding League cadres in the new era who are dedicated to the public service, upright, and spotless.
