During the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Genesis officially announced that its new Genesis GV80 family was launched, including GV80 and GV80 coupe SUV two models to choose from, both of which provide two configurations, the guide price of GV80 is 529,800 yuan and 668,800 yuan respectively, and the guide price of GV80 coupe SUV is 529,800 yuan and 698,800 yuan respectively.
In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car adopts a family design style, with a chrome grid-like structure decorated inside the diamond-shaped grille, which has a strong sense of momentum, and the headlight cluster adopts a split design, which belongs to the iconic design language.
The lower part of the envelope adopts a three-section design, equipped with relatively large deflector grooves on both sides, and the bottom is a trapezoidal air intake, and the interior is decorated with a black honeycomb structure, which has a strong sporty atmosphere.
The side styling, the GV80 roof has a slight curve, equipped with shark fins and luggage racks, with a strong sense of power; the roof of the GV80 coupe SUV adopts a slip-back shape, with a smoother sense of line; the rounded waistline adopts a through-type design, embellishing the layering of the side of the body; the wheel arches and side skirts are designed with raised rib lines, creating a sense of muscle; the wheels adopt a double five-spoke shape, and the texture performance is relatively good.
At the rear, the roof is equipped with a small spoiler, the tail light clusters also have a split design to echo the headlight clusters, the lower surround is equipped with a recessed license plate frame to accentuate the layered sense of the rear end, the lower surround is equipped with a black trim with a honeycomb structure, the coupe SUV version is equipped with a two-sided exhaust trim cover, and the GV80 adopts a hidden exhaust layout.
In terms of dimensions, the GV80 has a length, width and height of 4940/1975/1725mm and a wheelbase of 2955mm, while the GV80 coupe SUV has a length, width and height of 4965/1975/1715mm and a wheelbase of 2955mm.
The interior is also a new family design style, with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a continuous dual screen and a knob-type electronic gear shifter.
In terms of equipment, the new car comes standard with automatic parking, hill assist, suspension soft and hard adjustment, front and rear parking radar, reversing radar, L2 level driving assistance, electric induction tailgate, keyless entry, one-button start, automatic LED headlights, automatic wipers, heated steering wheel, electric adjustment/ventilation/heating of the front seats, electric adjustment of the second row seats, automatic air conditioning and rear exhaust air vents.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.5T four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 304 horsepower and a peak torque of 422Nm, matched with an 8AT gearbox and a four-wheel drive system.
