In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the mainland and the regulations of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture and Plantation Industry of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on the phytosanitary requirements for the export of Sri Lankan fresh pineapples to China, from now on, Sri Lankan fresh pineapples that meet the following relevant requirements are allowed to be imported.

In order to further enhance the level of cross-border trade facilitation and continuously optimize the business environment at ports, the General Administration of Customs has launched the "Enterprise Audit (Voluntary Disclosure)" functional module under the "Enterprise Management" of the "China International Trade Single Window" (website: https://www.singlewindow.cn), through which enterprises can sign documents, submit applications for voluntary disclosure and related materials, and receive feedback on the handling of customs services.

Announcement No. 37 of 2024 of the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Announcement on Lifting the Ban on the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Epidemic in Ukraine)

According to the results of the risk analysis, as of the date of this announcement, the status of the whole territory of Ukraine is recognized as free of highly pathogenic avian influenza, and the ban on the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Ukraine is lifted.

The ban on the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Ukraine in the Joint Announcement No. 31 of 2020 of the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Announcement on Preventing the Introduction of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza into the Mainland in Slovakia, Hungary, Germany and Ukraine) is no longer enforced.

According to the World Health Organization, the number of dengue fever cases reported in the Americas from January to March 2024 exceeded 3 million, three times that of the same period last year, among which Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and other countries were the most serious. In order to prevent the dengue fever epidemic from entering the mainland and protect the health and safety of people entering and leaving the country, in accordance with the provisions of the "Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People's Republic of China" and its implementation rules and other laws and regulations, the following announcement is hereby made.

In accordance with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the regulations of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Animal Husbandry, Agriculture and Fisheries of the Republic of East Coast of Uruguay on the inspection, quarantine and health requirements of Uruguayan wild aquatic products exported to China, from now on, the import of Uruguayan wild aquatic products that meet the following relevant requirements is allowed.

According to the results of the risk analysis, from the date of this announcement, buffalo embryos that meet the quarantine and health requirements of the mainland are allowed to be exported to China within the four-point line of 31°53'10.3" north latitude and 73°41'28.4" east longitude, 31°53'10.0" north latitude and 73°41'10.8" east longitude, 31°52'48.5" north latitude, 73°41'11.5" east longitude, 31°52'48.9" north latitude and 73°41'28.8" east longitude.

Announcement No. 40 of 2024 of the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Announcement on Allowing Buffalo Embryos from Some Areas of Pakistan to be Exported to China)

Announcement No. 41 of 2024 of the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Announcement on Lifting the Ban on Mad Cow Disease in German Deboned Beef Under 30 Months of Age)

According to the results of the risk assessment, from the date of issuance of this announcement, the former Ministry of Agriculture and the former State Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau Joint Announcement No. 143 [2001] on the mad cow disease ban on deboned beef under 30 months of age in Germany will be lifted.

The inspection and quarantine requirements for German deboned beef under the age of 30 months exported to China will be formulated separately.
