On the evening of April 30, the first series of mass theatrical performances of "2024 Celebration of 'May Day' International Labor Day Workers' Song" kicked off in the small theater of Wuhan Mass Art Museum, hosted by the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and undertaken by the Wuhan Mass Art Museum, paying tribute to workers from all walks of life in the city.

Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone middle-aged and elderly art troupe brought the opening dance "harvest", team leader Xu Cuiping introduced, among the 20 people who participated in the performance that day, the youngest was 23 years old, the oldest was 63 years old, and the team members were composed of kindergarten primary and secondary school teachers, community cadres, and retired employees of enterprises in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, all of whom were front-line workers.
Zhou Juan, deputy director of Wuhan Mass Art Museum, introduced that in order to better meet the material and cultural needs of the masses during the "May Day" period, the museum carefully planned this literary and artistic activity with the theme of the song of laborers, and the program brought together dance, singing, storytelling, quhu solo, magic and other forms to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the masses and create a joyful, festive, civilized and healthy festival cultural atmosphere.

These four students stood out from the "People's Star" activity created by the Wuhan Mass Art Museum, which is a big stage for the people and the whole people to participate, and many ordinary workers who love literature and art show themselves on this platform to realize their performance dreams.
The whole program enthusiastically eulogized the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmen, interpreted labor to write a chapter of the times, and struggled to create a better future. The well-known singer Cao Yiheng sang "Cutting Early Rice" solo, this labor horn, which was sung by local farmers in Tianmen, Hubei Province when they were working in the fields, was collected by Cao Yiheng and arranged by musical instruments to form a complete music.
