Xinda Printing and Dyeing, located on the Taipu River in Meiyan Community, is not only a representative of Pingwang's old printing and dyeing enterprises, but also a major contributor to local tax revenue. While the enterprise is booming, it has also brought great pressure to the water environment of the Taipu River.
Last year, the company resolutely made a decision to move out of the Taipu River and move to the printing and dyeing function cluster area of Pingwang Town as a whole. According to the person in charge of the company, the new company will build 4 multi-storey high-quality and high-standard workshops and build a digital printing and dyeing workshop. Although the company will invest a lot of money in the relocation, it will not only bring the company's average tax revenue per mu from the original 478,000 yuan to 600,000 yuan growth expectation, but also contribute to the "river protection movement" in Pingwang Town.
Overall relocation, cluster development, industrial upstairs...... Along the Pingwang Taipu River, there are not a few enterprises like Xinda Printing and Dyeing that choose to move factories into the park.
"Moving factories to protect the river" depends not only on the willingness of enterprises, but also on the good behavior of the government.
Take the remediation of water jet looms as an example. Focusing on the construction of Yunpu Bay District, Pingwang Town has demarcated the key renovation area of the 2-kilometer section from Pingwang Bridge to Jiangcheng Avenue. At present, 530 million yuan has been invested in the renovation of Taipu River, 256 scattered and polluted enterprises (workshops) have been remediated, 16 wharves have been banned, a total of 299,500 square meters of construction area have been demolished, and 1,123 acres of land have been reclaimed, so as to truly return the shore to the people.

Through design remodeling, Pingwang Town has transformed Yunpu Bay from a production shoreline dominated by factories and warehouses to a high-value cultural and ecological corridor integrating Yunpu cultural display, flower garden sightseeing, and ecological leisure. "Yunpu Shiguang is the first comprehensive digital cultural industry sharing platform in the region created by Pingwang and Himalaya, and is a comprehensive new cultural tourism format integrating Yunpu cultural exhibition hall, maker space, digital cultural experience center, live broadcast e-commerce base, and camping group camp. The first and second phases of the project cover an area of nearly 10,000 square meters and will be completed in two months.
