Qin Moumou illegally hoarded trademarks for profit
On April 28, Wang Ziwei reported Qin Moumou, head of the Trademark and Geographical Indications Management Section of the Yichang Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Hubei Province, with her real name on the Internet, saying that Qin Moumou borrowed the name of her mother Xiong Moumou to hoard a large number of trademarks and preemptively register the name of Yichang's specialty geographical indications.
Wang Ziwei reported that Xiong, a 79-year-old retired teacher, had registered more than 100 trademarks under his name, and she questioned that these trademarks were not actually used. The surging news reporter inquired about the China Trademark Network and found that Xiong Moumou applied for the registration of 108 trademarks.
