A good prescription for the heart, if the heart is beating chaotically and you are frightened, you can refer to this prescription

author:Mr. Zhang, a Chinese medicine practitioner

In the whole book of "Treatise on Typhoid Fever", there are two ways to treat the deficiency, and there are two conditions of the deficiency, one is abdominal pain, which is Xiao Jianzhong soup, and the other is the boiled licorice soup.

Today I want to talk about the licorice soup in "Treatise on Typhoid Fever". Original text: Typhoid fever, pulse knots, heart palpitations, licorice soup master.

What is palpitation? It means panic, fear, and wanting to cry; pulse knotting is what Western medicine calls "irregular heartbeat", that is, the pulse beats twice and stops, or three times and stops, or a few or more dozen times and stops, and there is no regular stopping.

In modern times, licorice decoction is commonly used to treat patients with functional arrhythmia, extrasystole, coronary heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, viral myocarditis, hyperthyroidism, etc., and palpitations, shortness of breath, pulse nods, etc., are due to lack of yin blood and weak yang qi. Experimental studies have shown that licorice decoction can improve the myocardial ultrastructure of rats with acute myocardial ischemia, and reduce the content of troponin and brain natriuretic peptide in peripheral blood, so as to protect the damaged myocardium.

A good prescription for the heart, if the heart is beating chaotically and you are frightened, you can refer to this prescription

The knot is like a rope with a lot of knots, the distance of the knot is not necessarily, and then the hand touches it is the knot, the generation of the pulse is like a drop of water, only a drop is dropped for a long time, the knot and the generation of the pulse are a symptom, the pulse is a licorice soup. About three doses will be fine.

Why is it a vein?

People with weak stomach and intestines are easy to see, and people with weak stomach and intestines have poor digestion, so they often see it in women, and they can hurt their spleen and their spleen will swell.

After eating food, there is a gap between the peristalsis of the small intestine (heart and small intestine), and the food is absorbed by the stomach and intestines before it becomes blood, and the blood is supplied to the heart.

If sometimes blood is given, sometimes blood is not given, sometimes the heart can catch blood, sometimes it can't catch blood, then it stops, so people who are weak will have the phenomenon of pulse formation.

Zhang Zhongjing found that the arrhythmia was caused by the stomach and intestines, and it could be seen when the stomach fluid was insufficient.

Because I know that it is a deficiency of the stomach and intestines, I use licorice, ginseng, jujube, and ginger in the prescription, and these four flavors are fixed.

The spleen itself has kinetic energy, squeezing out the blood of the spleen to the large meridian of the spleen, that is, the pancreas, and the blood vessels of the pancreas go to the lower part of the stomach, and the stomach gets blood and heat from the spleen, and the stomach begins to peristalsis.

If the heat is not enough, the peristalsis is gone, and the heat that exists in the stomach goes up, and this heat is originally in the fluid of the stomach.

Because the dryness of the stomach goes up, the lungs will also be dry, so the mood will be bad, and the lungs and large intestine will be on the same surface, so I know that this person's stool will not be good.

A good prescription for the heart, if the heart is beating chaotically and you are frightened, you can refer to this prescription

It's not constipation, but the stool is not very good, the stool should be scorched, and the upper source must be moisturized, otherwise the lungs will be too hot, and there will be no stool after the heat, so add Mai Mendong, Mai Mendong is specially to moisten the lungs, so that the humidity in the lungs is enough.

Then add hemp seeds, because he is not constipated, and there is food in the intestines, although the intestines are walking, but walking too slowly.

If the rhubarb and miscanthus are too strong, so use hemp seeds to slowly clear the intestines, and the kernels of traditional Chinese medicine, such as almonds and plum kernels, are more oily and can be lubricated.

Originally, the blood was not enough, and the place of birth, Ejiao, specialized in blood supplementation. At this time, if you only rely on licorice, ginseng, jujube, and ginger, it is too slow to eat food to replenish it.

Therefore, the blood-tonic medicine is added to it, so that it enters the heart, so the cinnamon branch is reused. The sum of these nine flavors is called boiled licorice soup, and the heavy use of boiled licorice makes the chest yang.

Boiled licorice soup recipe: four taels of boiled licorice, three taels of ginger, three taels of cinnamon branches, two taels of ginseng, one pound of rehmannia root, two taels of ejiao, half a liter of Mai Men Dong, half a liter of hemp seeds, and 30 jujubes.

On the nine flavors, take seven liters of sake and eight liters of water, boil the eight flavors first, take three liters, remove the water, and the glue is exhausted, and serve one liter warmly, three times a day. A Fumai soup. The prescription can now be referred to as follows:

12 grams of boiled licorice, 9 grams of ginger, 9 grams of cinnamon branches, 6 grams of ginseng, 50 grams of rehmannia root, 6 grams of ejiao, 10 grams of Mai Mendong, 10 grams of hemp seeds, 10 jujubes.

A good prescription for the heart, if the heart is beating chaotically and you are frightened, you can refer to this prescription

The above 8 flavors (except Ejiao) use 800ml of water, add 700ml of rice wine or sake, boil the first 8 flavors of medicine, pour out after boiling, mix Ejiao into the liquid medicine, and take it warmly for 2-3 times.

Ejiao is used raw, when the medicine is used raw, the medicinal power is sharp and fast, the cooked medicine is relatively pure but slowly walks, raw Ejiao can go to the heart immediately, and the heart blood will be replenished immediately.

Because he knew that the patient's body was weak, he used one or two raw land.

Mai Men Dong and Ma Zi Ren are the medicine inside and outside, one moistens the lungs and the other cleanses the intestines, so they are often used together and in equal amounts. Sake, white wine, rice wine are OK.

In the thirtieth chapter of the "Neijing: Lingshu" mentions:

What is Tsu?

Qi Bo said: Cutting out the stomach, sweating out of Qinqin, is Jin.

What is liquid?

Qi Bo said: Enter, full of qi Naoze, injected into the bones, the bones belong to flexion and extension, discharge, nourish the cerebral marrow, moisturize the skin, is the liquid.

If the yin and yang are divided by the two of jin and liquid, then jin is yang and liquid is yin. When we are insufficient, we use ginseng to make up for it, and when we are short of liquid, we use raw land to make up for it.

From this, we can know the pharmacology of the use of human ginseng in the licorice soup.

"Fang Yu Hui" this article says: This is Zhongjing typhoid fever, pulse generation, heart palpitations, the holy prescription also; Sun Zhenren used it to treat fatigue, Wang Thorn began to use it to benefit lung impotence, and all the prescriptions of Zhongjing, its change is like this.

Therefore, although the cloud changes like this, and the wonder of this recipe is in the vein, so it is also called Fumai soup. No matter what the disease, all those who have a pulse should use this prescription first.

A good prescription for the heart, if the heart is beating chaotically and you are frightened, you can refer to this prescription

This prescription is the famous prescription of "Treatise on Typhoid Fever" for the treatment of palpitations and pulse knots. The evidence is caused by the lack of yin blood and the lack of yang energy. Yin blood is insufficient, the blood veins cannot be filled, coupled with the lack of yang qi, the inability to agitate the blood veins, the pulse qi is not connected, so the pulse is formed; the yin blood is insufficient, the heart and body are not nourished, or the heart and yang are weak, can not warm the heart and veins, so the heart palpitates. It is advisable to nourish the heart yin, nourish the heart and blood, benefit the heart qi, warm the heart and yang, and restore the pulse and fix palpitations. In the formula, the licorice is warm and invigorating, passes through the meridians, benefits the blood and qi, and nourishes the heart in a slow and urgent manner. The two medicines are reused, nourishing qi and nourishing blood to restore the pulse, and they are all the king's medicines. Ginseng and jujube nourish the heart and spleen, and the combination of licorice and licorice is beneficial to the heart and qi, and the spleen is nourished by the source of qi and blood metaplasia; Ejiao, Mai Dong and Ma Ren nourish the yin and nourish the blood and nourish the heart, and the rehmannia nourishes the heart and yin, nourishes the heart and blood, and fills the blood and veins, which are all subordinate medicines. Cinnamon branches and ginger warm the heart and yang and pass the blood veins, so that the qi and blood are unblocked, the pulse and qi are connected, and the thick flavors are nourishing but not greasy, and they are all adjuvants. The combination of cinnamon and licorice can also be sweet and yang, and the heart and blood can be combined to revitalize the heart and yang. In usage, add sake decoction to warm the yang and pass the veins, to help the medicinal power, and to make medicine. The combination of various medicines nourishes but not greasy, warm but not dry, so that the qi and blood are abundant, the yin and yang are harmonized, and the function of nourishing qi and nourishing the blood, nourishing yin and restoring the pulse. Because boiled licorice and ginseng can also replenish lung qi, moisten the lungs and relieve cough; Ejiao and Mai Dong are good at nourishing lung yin and moistening lung dryness; rehmannia and hemp seeds are long in nourishing kidney water, and are used in combination with Ejiao and Mai Dong, which have the function of "gold and water grow together", so they can be used for the treatment of patients with qi and yin injuries caused by fatigue and pulmonary impotence. However, for those who suffer from yin injury and lung dryness, the amount of ginger, cinnamon and wine in the recipe should be reduced or not used, because after all, warm medicine has the disadvantage of depleting yin fluid, so it should be used with caution.

1. Key points of use: Boiled licorice soup is a tonic for yin and yang, qi and blood. The clinical application is based on palpitations, pulse generation, virtual win and less qi, and tongue light and less lichen as the key points of syndrome differentiation.

2. Arrhythmia: A meta-analysis of the literature on the treatment of patients with arrhythmia with the addition or subtraction of licorice decoction was conducted, and the quality of the included literature was evaluated by using the Jadad scoring scale, and the clinical efficacy was meta-analyzed. Results: Eight randomized controlled clinical trials were included. The overall efficacy of licorice decoction in the treatment of arrhythmia, coronary heart disease combined with arrhythmia, bradyarrhythmia, premature ventricular contraction and palpitation was better than that of the Western medicine group, and the adverse reactions of Western medicine were reduced. 3. Premature contractions: 100 cases of premature ventricular contractions were treated with the addition or subtraction of this prescription, and 78 cases were compared with the treatment of mexiletine hydrochloride, and the course of treatment was 2 months. The clinical efficacy evaluation was based on the disappearance of premature beats monitored by Holter electrocardiogram after treatment, and the return of electrocardiogram to normal after treatment, and the reduction of the number of premature beats monitored by Holter monitoring by more than 50% was improved. Results: The total effective rate was 96% in the treatment group and 89% in the control group, and the reduction of the number of early Holter recording chambers in the treatment group was better than that in the control group. (Anhui Medicine, Issue 10, 2007)

4. Insomnia: 30 cases of refractory insomnia in the elderly were treated with the addition or subtraction of licorice decoction, and 30 cases were compared with the alprazolam treatment group, and the course of treatment was 21 days. The clinical efficacy evaluation was based on the recovery of normal sleep, more than 6 hours of sleep per night, deep sleep, and less dreams and no fatigue. Results: The total effective rate was 93.33% in the treatment group and 86.67% in the control group. The control group had drug dependence, and the treatment group did not have drug dependence. (Chinese Journal of Geriatrics, Issue 17, 2012)

5. Heart failure: 25 patients with heart failure with dilated cardiomyopathy were treated with licorice decoction combined with Western medicine, and 24 patients were treated with Western medicine (diuretics, vasodilators, digitalis and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, etc.), and the course of treatment was 3 weeks. The clinical efficacy evaluation was based on the basic disappearance of symptoms and signs, and the improvement of cardiac function by more than 2 grades. The changes of cardiac function indexes such as left ventricular end-diastolic volume, left ventricular end-systolic volume and left ventricular ejection fraction were observed by ultrasound. Results: In the treatment group, 17 cases were effective, 6 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective, with a total effective rate of 92%. In the control group, there were 11 cases with significant response, 8 cases with efficacy and 5 cases with an ineffective rate, with a total effective rate of 79.2%. (Journal of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Issue 4, 2010)

6. Constipation: 42 cases of habitual constipation were treated with licorice decoction and flavor, and the course of treatment was 10 days. Results: Thirty-eight patients had normal bowel movements after 5 days of treatment, and 4 patients had normal bowel movements after 10 days of treatment. (Shandong Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Issue 1, 2007)

7. Myocarditis: 45 cases of viral myocarditis were treated with addition or subtraction of this prescription, and 25 cases were treated with Western medicine (ATP, coenzyme A, cytochrome c, vitamin C), and the course of treatment was 4~6 weeks. The clinical efficacy evaluation was based on the disappearance of symptoms and signs, and the normal ECG, cardiac enzymes and cardiac function tests. Results: In the treatment group, 16 cases were cured, 6 cases were effective and 2 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 95.5%. In the control group, 5 cases were cured, 8 cases were effective, 7 cases were effective, and 5 cases were ineffective, with a total effective rate of 80%.
