On April 30, on the occasion of the 134th May Day International Labor Day, accompanied by a series of long whistles of concrete pump trucks, the concrete of the basement roof of the Qianhai Museum (formerly Guoshen Museum) project was successfully poured, and it entered the large-scale construction stage of the main structure on the ground 30 days ahead of schedule.
The Qianhai Museum project started in September 2023, and the project team overcame the difficulties of high water level and poor soil quality of the foundation pit in Linhai, typhoon weather, and narrow construction site with the spirit of "science + hard work", intelligent decision-making, scientific construction, and steady progress, and carried out construction plan discussion, analysis of key points and difficulties, resource allocation, etc., completed the established goals as planned, and completed the comprehensive capping of the main structure of the basement 30 days ahead of schedule, laying a solid foundation for the follow-up construction work.
While making every effort to promote the construction of the project, the project team focused on building safety and quality benchmarks, continued to make efforts in the standardization of work processes, personnel behaviors, protective measures, and safety management visualization, and built a strict safety and quality management system, and won the title of "Excellent Construction Site for Safety Production and Civilized Construction of Shenzhen Construction Projects in the First Half of 2024", achieving double coordination and double victory in safety and performance.

The Qianhai Museum project is one of the "major cultural facilities in the new era", located at the intersection of Linhai Avenue and Qianwan 4th Road, Nanshan Street, Nanshan District, with a land area of 32,000 square meters and a total construction area of 126,000 square meters, including 65,000 square meters of above-ground construction area and 61,000 square meters of underground construction area, with a building height of about 68 meters. The construction of the project is a specific measure for Shenzhen to implement the strategy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the strategic goal of building a pilot demonstration zone of socialism with Chinese characteristics, which will help improve the comprehensive cultural level of Shenzhen, promote the development of Shenzhen's cultural tourism, and help build a new international city center.
