So when I entered primary school to junior high school, there were no such good conditions, no youth art school, and no opportunity to worship teachers, so I could only participate in some interest groups at this time, so when I graduated from junior high school and wanted to choose to study in high school or take the technical secondary school, I chose to take the art college, and later I was admitted to the light industry college. Our professional director is Mr. Huang Huanwu, this is very famous, and the other two teachers are also very famous, one is to teach flowers and birds called Wang Yunsheng, Mr. Wang Yunsheng is very old, his teacher is Chen Yaosheng, Chen Pai was also very famous before liberation; Worship Huang Huanwu teacher as a teacher, this is his own luck, but also his own blessing, why do you say that, because I liked to paint Chinese painting at that time, and I am also very famous in our entire major, they all said that Ying Heguang likes to paint Chinese painting, so maybe Mr. Huang knows this situation, he has a chance to meet himself, he asked me, Ying Heguang, you like Chinese painting so much, are you willing to be my student, he said if you like it, if you are willing, I will accept you as a student, oh, that's so happy, you said right. In fact, he mainly likes himself to be very persistent in Chinese painting, especially flower and bird painting, because he often paints until late at night, so sometimes the teacher will also go to him to reflect, Ying Heguang has been painting Chinese painting, maybe there is this factor.

After graduating from school, Ying Heguang was assigned to work in the Shanghai Enamel Factory, which was more than 30 years.

Knowing that after he graduated, he was assigned to the enamel factory, in the eyes of our ordinary people, this place seems to be far away from art, did he feel very disappointed, no, why, because he studied design, Chinese painting is his hobby, to the enamel factory is actually very closely combined with Chinese painting, like his own painting Chinese painting, while engaged in design. The two sides do not affect each other and complement each other. For example, in the design, the art of art design, which was called art design at that time, could go out to sketch once a week, which was in Shanghai, so we often went to Longhua Nursery at this time, and now it is the Botanical Garden, where there are all kinds of flowers and plants, so we brought painting tools, went inside and stayed for a day, brought a bread into it, that is, went in for a day, and painted from morning to evening, which helped us a lot. There is also a year we have the opportunity to go out to sketch in other places, this time is about two weeks, after going to see the real mountains and real waters, to their own feelings, the shock of the soul, which is incomparable. So the enamel factory gave him a lot of opportunities at that time, and another point, the enamel factory at that time was actually full of talents, and later there were a few artists like him, enamel design is actually very close to Chinese painting, like Tang Yun, Wang Gequan, Jiang Hanting and other old gentlemen are to the enamel factory, while experiencing life, while painting, which can be seen the relationship inside. Later, many people who painted Chinese paintings, originally distributed in various units, came to our industry one after another, and everyone often communicated and learned, including Chinese painting, including design, and everyone often got together to communicate and analyze, which must have improved for everyone.

Mr. Tang is actually a very tall painter that he has always admired, but he did not have the opportunity to contact him, he went to the enamel factory, at that time he had not entered the industry, only heard that there was such a thing, then it was Tang Yilan, his son, from the Chinese Painting Academy came to our factory, and with himself in a factory, after he came, he had the opportunity to step into their door. I know Mr. Tang, I want to go to Mr. Tang's house, my purpose is to learn technology, learn skills, every time I go, I will bring a scroll of paintings, I paint good things, bring to Mr. Tang to see, when I go, I was young at that time, and I didn't dare to make a lot of noise, I stood behind after I went, and then he knew that he had a roll of things in his hand, he said Ying Heguang is not a painting in your hand, he said yes, he said you come here, let me see, take it yourself, He opened it and showed himself one by one very seriously, the rules here are not good, or this is quite good, he affirms himself if he has achievements, and he points out to himself that he wants to spend so much time on him, and he feels very sorry not to go, he doesn't care, after he sees it, he says to work hard.

Later, he was known as the Lingnan color Shanghai school of brush and ink, did not combine the characteristics of Mr. Huang Huanwu and Mr. Tang Yun at the beginning, this awarded, why, this is very natural to combine the two, because Mr. Huang's Lingnan school has the characteristics of the Lingnan school, but the Lingnan school pays more attention to color, atmosphere, But Mr. Tang, he attaches more importance to brush and ink, he is from the Bada Shanren tradition, in fact, he thinks that Mr. Tang's brush and ink is very high, so he combines the two, so the society gives himself such an evaluation.

I cooperate with Mr. Tang, I can't say that, because this thing has to be said like this, I have a chance to bring some of my usual paintings, including five or six of my own paintings of the autumn of the wild goose, then he will show himself, for his own analysis, after analysis, said, this color is very good, very good, but it seems that the chapter is lacking, he said I will make up for you, he picked up the pen, quickly made up two crickets, vivid, too vivid, immediately lifelike, and then Tang Lao immediately picked up the pen, After the payment, he said, Heguang painted geese to red, Tang Yun made up for crickets, this is the cooperation between himself and Donald Lao spread outside, so it can't be said that cooperation is his encouragement to himself.

Painted more than 30 years ago, "Wild Goose Comes Red" witnesses the friendship between Ying Heguang and Mr. Tang Yun. The top leaves of the picture are bright red, and the two crickets below are from Mr. Tang Yun's hands, and the pen and ink are concise and lifelike. However, soon after, this painting brought a lot of trouble to Ying Heguang.

One year out of the calendar, specially for themselves out of an album, the album to choose 12 months, 12 paintings, this work was selected, I was very happy, the result, and so the calendar sent to their home, I couldn't wait to open it, I was dumbfounded, he cut off the crickets painted by Mr. Tang, and asked them what was going on, and he said that you read the words, and it was written that Ying Heguang painted the wild goose to red, Tang Yun made up the cricket, what about the cricket, he said, Oops, this size is not right, he doesn't care about the picture, he is really worried about Mr. Tang's blame, how to show this wall calendar to Mr. Tang, after a while, he didn't mention this matter, and then by chance, he said, Ying Heguang, last time you didn't say, a painting you out of the calendar, ah, Mr. Tang, I said I was embarrassed, he said what happened, he told him about this matter, and he said how embarrassed I was to show you, he said it didn't matter, You have a chance to bring me the wall calendar, I said Don't show it to you, I don't want to show it to you, your crickets are gone, how can I show you, Tang Yun said forget it, forget it, forget it, this old gentleman, Teacher Tang is really open-minded, and there is no blame at all.

There is also a bit of a shadow of Western painting, which is thanks to his teacher, because Mr. Huang is a representative of the Lingnan School, and the Lingnan School itself is a combination of Chinese tradition and Western absorption of the two to create such a school of painting, so in my current Chinese painting, one is influenced by the teacher, and I have the feeling of this light; on the other hand, after I went outside for a while, I feel that Western painting is expressing all aspects of still life, and the light is more beautiful and perfect after being used. When I was in 1989, I was invited to Canada to hold an art exhibition, where I saw a lot of works of various Western schools in museums, and their conditions were relatively good, with Picasso's paintings and some works of everyone from all eras, which was also very inspiring to me. The expression of things and some of their thinking are very useful, so Western painting also inspired me a lot, so I also absorbed a lot of their advantages in Chinese painting and when I painted there at that time, including the subject matter of their creation.

Engaged in painting for more than 40 years, Ying Heguang has to take time out of life every year, absorb nutrients in nature, and turn thousands of charming flowers and birds into a variety of brushstrokes.

If you play brush and ink games and literati paintings, then you can not go to sketching, but the things you are painting now need materials, a lot of materials, and another is to find a feeling, so I have to spend a lot of time every year to go out to sketch and collect style. For example, to Xishuangbanna, Xishuangbanna's tropical rainforest, the plants in it are very rich, there are some flowers, we have never seen them, these are the subjects of our flower and bird paintings, so I went to the future, I have this feeling, I want to express them, this is not a kind of enrichment for myself, people look at Ying Heguang's flower and bird paintings are different from the traditional. Art must be taken seriously and devoted, if you paint at will, then this is not a career, it is just a casual play, because I feel that every time I create a work, I actually leave a cultural thing for the society, and it will be passed on to everyone in the future, if you are casually, in fact, it is irresponsible to the society.

At that time, Ying Heguang, who was the president of the Shanghai Artists Association's Ink Painting Association, always liked to organize members to go deep into life and sketch in the scenery of lakes and mountains. In his opinion, in addition to painting, the Sea Ink Painting Association is also a part of his career. The Haimo Painting Association is actually a flower and bird painting exhibition held in Shanghai in 1978, this exhibition was carried out in the People's Park, this exhibition was very successful, on this basis, everyone thinks, there should be such an organization, we can often be together, hold exhibitions, exchanges, we learn from each other, improve our painting skills, this is how the Haimo Painting Association was established. Although I did spend a lot of time, I am very happy, because this time and energy, I feel that it is worth the money, why, there is such a platform, it really unites people from all walks of life, and everyone has learned and improved in art, which is a great gain. I feel that on this artistic road, art is endless, so I still have a lot of things to do, there are still many ways to explore, so it is embodied in my own creation, in fact, there are endless things, I want to use my future period of time, I want to do more creation, more to the middle of life, especially in the pen and ink skills to continue to improve, in fact, learning is bottomless, I feel that for example, I have to work hard in some aspects, so I have to continue to work hard, How far you can climb the peak, this is not up to you, you have to rely on your own efforts to fight for it.
