In order to implement the requirements of the Eighth Five-Year Plan for National Rule of Law Publicity and Education, and to deeply understand and learn the lessons of recent school bullying incidents across the country, on the afternoon of April 29, the Heyang County Vocational Education Center invited the Heyang County Customs Working Committee, the Heyang County Education Customs Working Committee, and the Heyang County Public Security Bureau to carry out a theme publicity activity on "Refusing Campus Bullying".
The theme of bringing rule of law education to schools and rejecting school bullying was held in the school playground. Bai Yafeng, director of the Heyang County Customs Working Committee, Wang Jun, director of the Office of the Education Customs Working Committee, Dang Miaomiao, a police officer (first-class superintendent) of the Political Department of the Heyang County Public Security Bureau, as well as relevant leaders of the school and more than 1,800 teachers and students of the school participated.
The report will be delivered by police officer Miao Miao of the party. Combined with specific cases, she explained what school bullying is, the manifestations of school bullying and the main harms of school bullying, and told the students the scientific methods to prevent school bullying. She focused on explaining the difference between illegal and criminal offenses, and guided the students to understand the age of criminal responsibility law and the concept of approving prosecution. She reminded students to learn to empathize in their daily lives, make honest and kind friends, control their emotions, and stay away from bullying and possible dangers.
The leaders of the school's moral education department also reaffirmed the school's zero-tolerance attitude towards campus bullying, and called on all students to stay away from campus bullying and jointly build a safe and harmonious campus.
