Old photo: Hong Kong in the fifties and sixties through the lens of a master photographer
Internationally renowned photographer, film actor and director Ho Fan, the "grandmaster" who pioneered street photography in Hong Kong. From 1958 to 1965, he won eight consecutive titles of the Ten Masters of World Photography organized by the Photographic Society of America from 1958 to 1965.
He didn't try to document Hong Kong, but used his camera to capture people, ordinary Hong Kong people. It is heartwarming to see the humanity in his photos, and the people in those photos feel as close as their own family.
