The flower dome of Gardens by the Bay in Singapore bid farewell to the romantic cherry blossom season that has just ended, and ushered in a sea of 10,000 tulips~~ The Singapore Eye will take you to see it first!
The 10th edition of Gardens by the Bay "Tulip by Bay" kicked off this morning from 29 April to 26 May.
The opening ceremony was attended by Senior Minister of State for National Development and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Sim Ying, and Ambassador of the Netherlands to Singapore, Anneke Adema, among others.
Felix Loh, Chief Executive Officer of Gardens by the Bay, said: "The Dream Tulip Show has a special place in the history of Gardens by the Bay. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Tulip Garden, and it's incredible to see a sea of tulips in full bloom in a tropical region like Singapore, which is why when it was first launched in 2013, visitors queued up like crazy. The Tulip Flower Show is a popular favourite among Singaporeans, and its success has laid the foundation for other flower-themed exhibitions at the Flower Dome in the future."

The "Tulip of Dreams" exhibition is one of the three major flower exhibitions at the Marina Bay Flower Dome and is the most visited by visitors. The Dutch theme pays homage to the inaugural exhibition in 2013 and will feature more than 54,000 tulip flowers of more than 20 varieties.

The "Dream Tulip" dome recreates the tulip fields of the traditional Dutch countryside, with flowers planted in a monochromatic arrangement. The classic traditional landscape of the Netherlands, windmills, waterwheels, clogs, and rustic cottages stand among the flowers, making visitors feel as if they are in a European tulip field and feel the strong Dutch style.
In addition, the flower show design incorporates elements of clean energy and urban agriculture to create a modern pastoral atmosphere.
Gardens by the Bay will be distributing complimentary tulip bouquets at the Flower Dome this weekend to thank visitors for their support over the years, and will host an event on Mother's Day.
