Starfield director Dodd Howard revealed in an interview with Kinda Funny Games that the first story DLC, Shattered Space, is expected to be released this fall.
"Shattered Chambers will be released in the fall, but we'll be bringing a major update to Starfield soon," he said. "There's a lot of stuff...... We reworked the map, so we had something new about the city map. ”
Bethesda said last December that Shattered Chambers is its first major expansion of the year and will feature "new story content, new locations, new gear, and more." It also said that it plans to roll out major new features and fixes to the game about once every six weeks.
"Our upcoming update, which I think will be announced in a few days this week, and then released on the Steam beta, has some good stuff for shipbuilding as well," Howard added.
