In this inspection, the focus is on whether there is a risk of falling off the escalator steps or pedals, whether the safety protection devices such as the step or pedal sagging switch and the missing monitoring device are effective, whether the elevator maintenance unit carries out maintenance work in strict accordance with the requirements of safety technical specifications, and the implementation of the main responsibility of the elevator user for safety.
This time, a total of 3 supermarkets (Dongxian Supermarket, Lide Preferred, K. Wah Supermarket) and 1 shopping mall (Minle Shopping Mall) were inspected, and 10 escalators and moving walks were inspected. After inspection, the safety protection devices such as escalator steps or pedal sagging switches and missing monitoring devices of the above four business entities are effective.
7 other safety hazards were found:
1. The safety technical file does not meet the specified requirements
2. The main responsibility of the user unit is not in place, and "daily control, weekly inspection, and monthly scheduling" are not carried out
3. The emergency drill record is incomplete, and there is no drill plan and summary
4. There is no training record related to special equipment safety education
5. There is no maintenance contract on site
6. The registration certificate for the use of special equipment has not been changed
7. The requirements of safety technical specifications are not strictly implemented in elevator maintenance
The Wuda District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has issued 3 special equipment supervision instructions, ordering the user to complete the rectification within a time limit.
At present, there are 444 elevators in Wuda District, including 415 passenger elevators, 16 escalator moving walks, and 13 dining elevators.
