According to his cousin, the deceased was from Yongtai County, Fuzhou, and came to the United States illegally in January 2023, first working in a restaurant, and later in order to pay off the smuggling fee as soon as possible, he was introduced to work in a marijuana plantation in Ohio in March this year.
On April 12, Mr. Zeng suddenly passed away unexpectedly, and local law enforcement agencies are investigating the cause of his death.
