On the afternoon of April 28, 2024, an important event aimed at raising public awareness and attention to hemophilia, the commemoration of the 36th World Hemophilia Day, was grandly opened at the Jimin Cancer Center of Anhui Medical University. The event was hosted by the Anhui Red Cross Foundation and co-organized by the Jimin Cancer Center of Anhui Medical University, the Anhui Provincial Hemophilia Association, Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., Ltd., Anhui Gaoming Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and other parties, and was located on the 11th floor of Jimin Cancer Center of Anhui Medical University, No. 888, Xinhai Avenue, Yaohai District, Hefei City, Anhui Province.

On April 17 this year, we celebrated the 36th World Hemophilia Day, with the theme "Understanding Bleeding Disorders, Proactive Prevention and Treatment". The core purpose of this activity is to raise the awareness and attention of the whole society to hemophilia and other bleeding diseases, and to promote scientific prevention and standardized diagnosis and treatment and care of patients. More than 100 people, including professors, experts, philanthropists, media and members from all over the province, attended the conference.

Han Lu, Dean of Jimin Cancer Center of Anhui Medical University, emphasized in his speech that this event brought together a number of well-known experts in the field of hemophilia in the province, who gave lectures and shared on the prevention, assessment, treatment, pain care, and assistance policies of hemophilia, which is of great significance for improving the public's awareness and attention to hemophilia and promoting scientific prevention and standardized diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Anhui Jimin Cancer Hospital, as a provincial tertiary cancer hospital under Fosun Health, has been actively paying attention to the latest progress in the diagnosis and treatment of hemophilia. We are honored to host this event, and it is also a valuable learning opportunity for us. At the same time, we would also like to thank the Anhui Red Cross Foundation Rare Disease Care Center and experts for their strong support to the hospital.
Mao Ling, President of Anhui Hemophilia Association, delivered a wonderful speech at the conference, he warmly congratulated the success of the event, and called on the whole society to pay attention to the health rights and interests of hemophilia patients, and work together to provide better diagnosis and treatment and care for hemophilia patients.

Finally, Quan Yicheng, director of the Hemophilia Rare Disease Care Center of the Anhui Red Cross Society, introduced the assistance policy of the Hemophilia Rare Disease Care Fund.
Quan Yicheng said that since its establishment in the Anhui Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on January 1, 1995, the Anhui Red Cross Foundation has always adhered to the service tenet of "humanity, fraternity and dedication". In October 2019, we set up a hemophilia rare disease care fund and a special hemophilia care fund (we plan to raise 5 million yuan within 3 years, but we have not yet completed the fundraising task due to various factors, and we are actively working hard). Anhui Jimin Cancer Hospital, the designated hospital of the Hemophilia Care Fund, plans to sign 10 primary medical institutions in the province this year to participate in this relief project, and Wuhu Jimin Hospital has signed a contract to complete the relief project.
This event not only raised public awareness and attention to hemophilia, but also provided more support and help for hemophilia patients. Let's look forward to more successful events to bring more hope and care to hemophilia patients.
