Recently, the Inner Mongolia Branch of the National Pipeline Network Group, together with the Public Security Detachment of the Hohhot Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Gucheng Police Station, jointly carried out a pipeline protection publicity activity with the theme of "Building a Safety Barrier and Guarding the Energy Artery" in the Gucheng Town, Tuoketuo County, Hohhot.
During the activity, the staff explained the typical accident cases of oil and gas pipeline protection, played the pipeline protection publicity animation and distributed the four-color leaflet of pipeline protection warning, and explained the pipeline protection knowledge in an easy-to-understand way. In the lecture session on pipeline protection knowledge, the staff of the branch explained to the residents around the pipeline the pipeline damage cases, the results of pipeline damage penalties and the reward system of the branch.
After the lecture on pipeline protection knowledge, the branch and the Hohhot Municipal Public Security Bureau launched the on-site prize quiz link, which pushed the atmosphere of the event to a climax, and the staff of the branch and the Public Security Bureau asked questions about the knowledge explained, and prepared umbrellas, water cups and other prizes for the guessers, so that the residents around the pipeline invisibly improved their understanding of the importance of the safety of the long-distance natural gas pipeline and enhanced the consciousness and initiative of the masses to protect the pipeline.
At the end of the event, the staff of the branch had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the public security personnel on pipeline protection, publicity visits, etc., clarified the idea of the next step of joint protection of pipelines between enterprises and localities, and carried out police-enterprise joint defense and trekking activities. Through exchanges and discussions, the understanding of pipeline protection work was further deepened, and a solid foundation was laid for future pipeline protection work. In the next step, the Inner Mongolia Branch will further increase its investment in pipeline protection publicity, actively carry out accurate publicity, and continue to raise the awareness of pipeline protection among residents and large manipulators around the pipeline, so that residents along the pipeline will regard the protection of pipelines as protecting their own safety, and effectively promote the pipeline protection publicity to achieve practical results.
