Universum has released its 15th annual report on the World's Most Attractive Employers.
Universum surveyed more than 172,890 business, engineering and IT students in the world's nine largest economies (Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States). Among them, 47% are business students, 38% are engineering students, and 15% are IT students.
The survey asked these prospective talent groups to gain an in-depth understanding of the company characteristics that they find most attractive to potential employers, as well as their ideal employer.
The report reflects the preferences and concerns of today's graduates when choosing an employer. Universum research shows that college students pay more attention to pay and training/development than all other factors.
In the World's Most Attractive Employers (WMAE) rankings, companies that offer high future earnings, competitive salaries, and professional training and development are favored.

Business

Apple and Google are still at the top of the list in 2023, while Microsoft, which ranked third last year, is in fifth place this year, and its appeal has decreased, and JPMorgan Chase has replaced it as the new top 3.
In addition, the "Big Four" are all ranked on the list, with Deloitte ranked 6th, Ernst & Young ranked 9th, KPMG ranked 10th, and PwC ranked 11th.

In the list of the top 50 most popular workplaces for IT students, Google, Microsoft and Apple took the top three. Lenovo and Huawei are ranked 21st and 22nd, respectively.
Deloitte, KPMG, Ernst & Young and PwC also made the list, ranking 14th, 27th, 28th and 34th, respectively.
