However, this is not the only important cooperation agreement reached between China and Nepal recently - it is reported that just a few days ago, Nepal's Finance Minister Basaman and other senior officials signed two cooperation agreements with the Chinese side in succession. One of the cooperation aims to promote cooperation between China and Nepal in human resources development, while the other agreement was signed by Nepal's Minister of Health, Roshan Pokarel, under the agreement that China and Nepal will cooperate on bone marrow transplant technical services, and China is expected to provide special financial assistance and technical support for bone marrow transplantation to Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital.

More importantly, China has also reached an important cooperation agreement with Nepal in the military field: on the occasion of the recent visit of the Chinese military delegation to Nepal, the Chief Commander of the Nepalese Army, Prabhu Ram Sharma, had in-depth exchanges with the Chinese side and warmly invited the Chinese side to carry out military cooperation with Nepal. According to Nepalese sources, the Chinese side is expected to carry out more and larger-scale joint military exercises with Nepal in the future, provide training services to Nepal's military commanders, and help build ammunition factories and other infrastructure facilities in Nepal.

Nepal has only two neighbors, namely India and China. For many years, India has regarded Nepal as its traditional sphere of influence, and has constantly intervened in Nepal's internal situation through economic, political and even military means, but because the pro-India faction was in power at the time, many Nepalis could only dare to speak out.
However, in 2019, the Modi government turned its attention directly to Nepal's territory, when India repealed Article 370 of its constitution and drew a so-called "new border". On India's "new map", a large part of Nepal's Kalapani region was included in India, which caused large-scale anti-Indian protests in Nepal and abroad. At the same time, the fledgling friendly relations between Nepal and China began to develop rapidly. It is not difficult to guess that Nepal is well aware of Modi's ambitions, so it wants to counter India's "expansionist scheme" by strengthening ties with China.

Although the current Modi government is interested in "currying favor" with Nepal and has repeatedly sent business representatives to Nepal to express its "willingness to invest in Nepal's infrastructure", the Nepalese authorities are still unmoved. In particular, just last month, Nepal's current prime minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, alias "Prachanda", officially ended his political alliance with the largest pro-India faction in Nepal, the "Congress Party", and instead gathered other parties to continue to pursue the policy of "pro-China India-making", which means that the pro-India forces in Nepal have suffered a heavy blow. Based on this, it is not difficult to speculate that Nepal will only get closer and closer to China and India in the future.
