On April 27, Jerome Kusin, Senior President of Shipping of TotalEnergies Group, and Dan Lanscal, Head of Crude Oil Tanker Charter of TotalEnergies Group, visited Guangzhou Shipbuilding International, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Group, to conduct research and exchange on the basic situation and production site of Guangzhou Shipbuilding International. Zhou Mushun, chief engineer of Guangzhou Shipyard International, participated in the exchange.

At the symposium, Zhou Mushun welcomed the visit of Kusin and his entourage, and introduced the overview of Guangzhou Shipyard International, product pedigree and the progress of the project of six 50,000-ton methanol dual-fuel chemical/product oil tankers under construction. Jerome Kusin fully affirmed the ship production and design capabilities of Guangzhou Shipyard International, and hoped that the two sides would further deepen cooperation and exchanges in the field of clean energy transformation and green intelligent ships.

Design renderings of Total's 50,000 tons of methanol dual-fuel chemicals/product tanker

Guangzhou Shipyard International has built and delivered 4 110,000-ton LNG dual-fuel product tanker projects for Total Group, and currently there are 6 50,000-ton methanol dual-fuel chemical/product tanker projects in full swing, and a number of projects have obtained charters from Total after delivery, and the two sides have maintained close contact and friendly cooperation for a long time.
