After a fierce battle, the heavenly soldiers and generals captured countless tigers and leopards and other monsters, but they didn't even catch a single monkey.
Of course not, but the heavenly soldiers and generals didn't want to embarrass the monkeys too much, so they showed mercy.
Unlike the soft-hearted hearts of the heavenly soldiers and generals, Erlang God killed the monkeys in Huaguo Mountain.
The Jade Emperor saw that the Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals were not Sun Wukong's opponents, so at the suggestion of Guanyin Bodhisattva, he transferred Erlang God to suppress Sun Wukong. As soon as Erlang God led 1,200 grass-headed priests to Huaguo Mountain, he divided his troops into two ways, he himself restrained Sun Wukong, and then let the grass-headed gods deal with the monkeys in Huaguo Mountain.
As soon as the grass-headed gods saw the monkeys in Huaguo Mountain, they fought and killed the monkeys and suffered heavy losses.
After some encirclement and suppression, Huaguo Mountain was killed and wounded tens of thousands of monkeys.
But what is strange is that although Erlang God almost wiped out the monkeys in Huaguo Mountain, Sun Wukong didn't seem to hate him, and even called him big brother as soon as he saw him on the way to learn the scriptures. For example, in the case of the nine-headed insect, Sun Wukong asked Erlang God to surrender to the nine-headed insect, and as soon as Erlang God appeared, Sun Wukong immediately called him the eldest brother of the manifestation.
Speaking of which, everyone must be very curious, Erlang God killed tens of thousands of monkeys in Huaguo Mountain, why did Sun Wukong still call him big brother?
Some people believe that although Erlang God killed the monkeys in Huaguo Mountain, he was merciful to Sun Wukong. When Sun Wukong was suppressed at the beginning, with his mana cultivation, coupled with the help of the Meishan brothers, he could easily capture him alive, but he kept releasing water on Sun Wukong until Taishang Laojun couldn't stand it anymore and knocked Sun Wukong down with King Kong Zhuo, and then captured Sun Wukong alive.
However, even if Erlang Zhen really showed mercy to Sun Wukong's subordinates, he still captured him alive after all, so that Sun Wukong would be willing to call him big brother regardless of the revenge of tens of thousands of monkeys being killed.

As for how to avoid the Heavenly Tribulation, Patriarch Bodhi decided to teach Sun Wukong the two techniques of change, saying: "What kind of general do you want to learn? There are general Tiangang numbers, which should be 36 changes, and there are general earth numbers, which should be 72 changes. ”
As you know, Sun Wukong chose the seventy-two changes, because the seventy-two changes are the unique secret method of the Bodhi Patriarch, and Sun Wukong thinks that its power is stronger than the thirty-six changes.
Since the seventy-two changes are the unique secret method of the Bodhi Patriarch, and we know that Erlang God also has the seventy-two changes, is his seventy-two changes also taught by the Bodhi Patriarch? Or is he actually also a disciple of the Bodhi Patriarch?
The possibility is entirely there. Because Erlang God not only masters the seventy-two changes, but also masters the skills of the law, heaven and earth, and Sun Wukong also masters these skills, in other words, he and Sun Wukong have the same skills, if they are not from the same school, how can they do this?
But Erlang God's entry time must have been earlier than Sun Wukong, after all, when Sun Wukong first apprenticed to learn art, he had already become an immortal.
