On April 26, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Chushang Zhangchang Bridge was held at the Zhangchang Ferry in Jingtan Township, Tianmen City. Yang Yunyan, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial People's Congress, attended the ceremony and announced the start of construction. The Chushang Zhangchang Bridge is donated by the Chushang collective, which will cost about 12.7 million yuan, which is an important measure for the Chushang Federation to fully integrate the resources of Chushang, serve the local government, help regional economic development, and implement the rural revitalization strategy through on-site investigations.
Wu Zhiyong, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Hubei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Ji Daoqing, secretary of the Tianmen Municipal Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Gao Wenbo, member of the Standing Committee of the Tianmen Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee, Gong Hongmin, member of the Standing Committee of the Tianmen Municipal Party Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, and other leaders attended. The ceremony was presided over by Gong Hongmin.
"A bridge flies north and south, and the moat becomes a thoroughfare. Ji Daoqing expressed his gratitude to the majority of Chu businessmen and village sages for their concern and support for the Chushang Zhangchang Bridge. Ji Daoqing said that the Tianmen Municipal People's Government will fully support the construction of the bridge, and hopes that all relevant units will go all out to push back the construction period, so that the villagers in the two places can enjoy the convenience brought by the bridge as soon as possible, and truly build the bridge into a century-old project and a people's livelihood project.
Gao Wenbo introduced the construction project of the bridge.
"Chushang is a group of people who have dreams, are willing to take responsibility, are willing to act, and are good at acting. Entrusted by President Chen Dongsheng, Jian Hong introduced the donation of the Chushang Zhangchang Bridge. He said that in 2024, Chushang will be deeply involved in promoting the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside, and the majority of Chushang will actively respond to the call and devote themselves to the cause of rural revitalization. Jingtan Township is a township supported by the Chu Merchants Federation in Tianmen, and the construction of the bridge has been widely supported by Chu businessmen across the country to solve the problem of inconvenient transportation between the two places and help rural revitalization.
Tian Chaohua, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jointown Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., delivered a speech as a donation representative.
On September 6, 2022, entrusted by President Chen Dongsheng, Jian Hong, Secretary-General of the Chu Merchants Federation, went to Jingtan Township, Tianmen for inspection and exchange, and proposed that the Chu Merchants Federation will actively help support the bridge construction work and jointly promote rural revitalization.
Wang Bingbing, Deputy Minister of the Membership Department of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the main persons in charge of the relevant departments directly under Tianmen City, representatives of Chushang, relevant comrades of Jingtan Township, and representatives of villagers of Zhangchang Village attended the ceremony.
