On the morning of April 27, the second "University Town" Dongwu Dialogue was held, where academicians Zhang Xianlong, Chen Jianping, Ningbo University and other colleges and universities in Ningbo gathered in Dongwu Town to discuss new development and write a new chapter around "striving to build a new model of rural revitalization and common prosperity". Shen Min, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the District Party Committee, and Zhu Da, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ningbo University, attended and delivered speeches. At the event site, the construction plan of Ningbo Rural Revitalization Research Institute was released, the Consortium of Rural Revitalization Society of Ningbo Association for Science and Technology and the Rural Revitalization College of Ningbo University were established and released the construction plan, the People's Government of Yinzhou District signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on rural revitalization with Ningbo University, and the Rural Research Institute of Ningbo University signed a contract with the new pilot town of Yinzhou District. The inauguration ceremony of the expert service platform of "University Town" in Yinzhou District and the listing ceremony of Soochow Experimental School affiliated to Ningbo University were also held at the scene.

In his speech, Zhu Da said that in 2019, Ningbo University and Dongwu Town carried out in-depth cooperation, forming a model of rural revitalization and common prosperity in developed areas with party building as the leader, "university town" as the cooperation model, and rural industry, rural governance, rural humanities and other fields as the cooperation platform. In the future, Ningbo University will take the Rural Research Institute and the College of Rural Revitalization as the carrier, take the "University Town" rural revitalization model as the starting point, coordinate resources, give full play to its advantages, continue to explore the implementation mode of promoting regional rural revitalization and common prosperity, further enhance the innovation ability, industrial level, development quality, urban quality and core functions of Dongwu Town, and fully stimulate the governance, cultural, ecological and industrial engines of Ningbo's rural revitalization, and strive to explore a new path of rural revitalization and common prosperity of co-construction, co-governance and sharing.

Shen Min welcomed all academicians, experts, scholars and guests, and expressed his gratitude to everyone for their concern and support for Yinzhou's economic and social development.
