Recently, Yudong Township held a meeting and signing ceremony for the work deployment of village (resident) legal counsel. More than 40 people, including four lawyers from Zhenxiong Nanguang Law Firm and Yunnan Aoyang (Zhenxiong) Law Firm, as well as the township's party and government teams at home, the heads of stations, and the main persons in charge of four village party organizations attended the meeting.
The meeting pointed out that the county judicial bureau implements the work requirements of the county party committee and county government to select legal advisers and deputy village heads for the rule of law at the grassroots level, which is not only to practice Xi Jinping's thought on the rule of law and let the seeds of the rule of law take root and sprout at the grassroots level, but also to implement the spirit of the relevant documents of the provincial, municipal and county party committees on party building to lead the pilot work of grassroots governance. The special action to popularize the law and strengthen the foundation and make up for the shortcomings, the "Sword and Bud" special action, the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" law popularization and other work responsibilities, establish and improve a long-term mechanism for the construction of the rule of law in Yudong Township.
The meeting demanded that the linkage of departments should be strengthened, and a long-term mechanism for grassroots governance according to law should be established and improved. Each village should do a good job of communication and coordination with legal counsel, focusing on key areas, key issues, and key populations, enriching the team for popular legal education, enriching the forms of popular legal education, and focusing on the effectiveness of popular legal education, establish and complete various work mechanisms such as forest protection and fire prevention, flood prevention and disaster relief, "one old and one young" care services, and investigation and resolution of contradictions and disputes, continuously deepening the integrated construction of a rule of law government and a rule of law society, and continuously consolidating the modernization of the grassroots governance system and governance capacity.
The meeting emphasized that the legal advisers of all villages should truly give full play to the advantages of the legal profession, do a good job in the promotion of the rule of law, legal consultation, legal services and other work on a regular basis, and effectively help solve the urgent and difficult problems of the masses in the rule of law. In particular, in the care and care of the "one old and one young" and the resolution of contradictions and disputes among the masses, we should do a good job in guiding them in accordance with the law, be close to the production and life of the masses, take root in the feelings of the people, stand firmly on the position of the masses, patiently receive letters and visits from the masses, warmly receive consultations from the masses, consciously enhance the credibility of the party and the government, and make full use of legal expertise to promote party building to lead the pilot work of grassroots governance in Yudong Township to achieve practical results.
At the meeting, the legal counsel signed a legal service agreement with the village and took a group photo, and after the meeting, the legal counsel went to the village to post a public notice of legal services.
