On April 25, Songshan Lake held a special meeting on the party building work of the Party Working Committee in 2024 to convey and study the spirit of the meeting of the leading group for party building work of the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and the spirit of the 2024 citywide organization work conference, listen to the 2023 annual work report of the secretary of the party committee at the next level, and deliberate and approve the key points of the party building work of the Songshan Lake Party Working Committee in 2024.
Liu Wei, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Songshan Lake Party Working Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech, and the leadership of the Songshan Lake Party Working Committee and the Management Committee, and the heads of various departments of Songshan Lake attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Party Committee of Songshan Lake Organs, the Party Committee of the "Two New" Organizations, the Party Committee of the Education Committee, the Party Committee of the Northern Area, the Party Committee of the Central Area, the Party Committee of the Southern Area and the Party Committee of the Ecological Park Area made reports in writing or on-site respectively, comprehensively summarizing the work achievements of the Songshan Lake organs, the "Two New" organizations, education and the Party committees of the four major areas in 2023, and pointing out the problems and deficiencies in the work.
At the same time, the meeting deliberated and approved the "Key Points of the Party Building Work of the Songshan Lake Party Working Committee in 2024", and made arrangements and deployments from seven major directions, including firmly grasping the political direction, consolidating the ideological foundation, tightening the organizational system, building a strong cadre team, tempering a strong style, strictly abiding by discipline and rules, and strengthening service guarantees, so as to further consolidate the party building work in the park in an all-round way.

The meeting pointed out that in the past year, new progress has been made in the party building work in the park, and the theme education of learning and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has been carried out.
The meeting emphasized that all districts should conscientiously summarize practical experience, continuously deepen and improve the efficiency of grassroots governance, strengthen the management of various sections and blocks on the existing basis, integrate various resource elements, and further organically unify the teams of safety officers, grid personnel, and urban management inspectors into the governance of the area, so as to promote each area to a new level in urban management such as dispute investigation, safe production, economic construction, and public security management.
The meeting pointed out that 2024 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and a key year for achieving the goals and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan. The park should make persistent efforts and work hard, focus on the implementation of the specific deployment of the provincial party committee "1310" and the work arrangements of the municipal party committee and municipal government, improve the political position, take the party discipline study and education as an opportunity to promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the party to develop in depth, anchor key tasks, ensure that the work of party building is effective, consolidate the main responsibility, pay close attention to the work of party building, and effectively provide a strong organizational guarantee for Songshan Lake to build a core engine leading the high-quality development of Dongguan.
