On April 25, By-Health released the "2023 Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "ESG Report"). This is the first time that By-Health has disclosed its ESG report, focusing on the company's practices and achievements in promoting green development, practicing social responsibility, and strengthening corporate governance, and comprehensively demonstrating the responsibility of By-Health.
According to Euromonitor data, Tomson By-Health has ranked first in the market share of China's vitamin and dietary supplement industry for many consecutive years, and its revenue will exceed 9.4 billion yuan in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 19.66%. While pursuing high-quality development, By-Health integrates the ESG concept into its corporate operations and actively assumes environmental, social and corporate governance responsibilities.

Green and intelligent manufacturing, sustainable development of new quality productivity

Over the years, By-Health has been committed to minimizing the environmental impact of manufacturing and other links by strengthening green production, laying out green logistics, promoting green packaging, and creating green culture. At the same time, the company always adheres to high standards and strict requirements, and promotes the continuous improvement of its own business with innovation.
In 2023, By-Health actively carried out five emission reduction projects to promote the green and efficient use of energy. The emission reduction projects saved a total of 6,221,900 kWh of electricity and 1,138.73 tons of steam, which is equivalent to reducing about 2,280.64 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
By-Health also continues to explore new technologies for water conservation and sewage treatment. As of 2023, there are 868 water-saving appliances in By-Health, with a penetration rate of 100%, and in 2023, the total water-saving projects of By-Health will save 47,000 tons of water, and from 2021 to 2023, the amount of wastewater in By-Health plant will be reduced year by year, almost halved.
In addition, By-Health actively carries out green packaging optimization. In 2023, the packaging of the four major products of By-Health has obtained the chain of custody certification of FSC Forest Stewardship Council.
By-Health actively promotes intelligent manufacturing, comprehensively improves the stability of the production process, and then improves product quality and output. According to the ESG report, By-Health has built a number of continuous production lines and completed the intelligent upgrade of the whole process of the production line. Among them, the continuous granulation line has increased the per capita output by 125%, and the use of continuous coating machine has increased the output per unit time by 100%.
Practice sustainable public welfare and contribute to society
In addition to minimizing environmental impact, By-Health has always adhered to the public welfare concept of "thinking that others have more, and that they have more with others", and has taken practical actions to care for public health, support the development of education, and be enthusiastic about charity, so as to contribute to the sustainable development of society.
As a leading manufacturer of dietary supplements in China, By-Health has always been concerned about public health. On the one hand, By-Health has carried out the "Lifeline Express Nutrition China Tour" for 13 consecutive years, benefiting more than 3.45 million people through public welfare services such as health testing, nutrition and health consultation, and health knowledge popularization.
