Article 63 of the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that:
Anyone who uses an open flame to work in violation of regulations, or smokes or uses an open flame in a place where there is a risk of fire or explosion, may be given a warning or a fine of not more than 500 yuan, and if the circumstances are serious, he shall be detained for up to 5 days.
Article 64 of the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that:
Whoever instigates or compels others to violate fire safety regulations and work at risk shall be detained for not less than 10 days but not more than 15 days, and may also be fined not more than 500 yuan;
