Mr. Zhao Huaifu and his wife both work at Nanjing University of Physical Education. In an interview, Mr. Zhao Huaifu fondly recalled the difficult birth process of Ms. Zhao Ruirui:
When Ms. Wang Shuying became pregnant, Mr. Zhao Huaifu submitted an application report for the birth of a second child to the unit in accordance with the policy at that time, but the leadership did not approve it for a long time, which made Mr. Zhao Huaifu and his wife fall into extreme anxiety.
When the fetus reached 7 months of age, the relevant authorities asked Ms. Wang Shuying to induce labor. Mr. Zhao Huaifu and his wife felt very sad and came to the hospital with tears streaming down their faces. However, because the fetus was too large, doctors were concerned about the risk to the mother, so the surgery was not performed.
