On April 26th, the "Zen Poetry and Painting Zen - He Xianqian, Kong Xianyong Zen Yue Series Calligraphy, Painting and Seal Carving Sketch Tour Exhibition" sponsored by the Songjiang District Federation of Literary and Art Circles was unveiled at the Zhangzhao Art Museum, and the Songjiang tour exhibition will be opened here.

With the title of "Zen Poetry and Painting Zen", this tour exhibition is to find the spiritual context of Chinese literati painting, take ancient Zen poetry as the origin of painting, and strive to interpret the Zen theory and artistic conception of poetry through the unique combination of calligraphy and painting and seal engraving, and explore the contemporary image transformation of literati thinking and Zen poetry, which also reflects the exploration, research and practice of the young generation of artists in Songjiang for the combination of poetry and painting.

The exhibitor, He Xianqian, has specialized in Chinese painting for many years, and has a relatively deep skill and cultivation in Chinese painting. How to derive from the light and shadow of the garden to the natural landscape and calligraphy, and how to organically combine the Taihu Lake stone and the natural landscape, is the main direction of her artistic practice over the years. The source of inspiration for her works in this exhibition comes from the book "Essays on Painting Zen Room", which is taken from the book "Zen Poetry and Zen", in order to pay tribute to the sages, strive to think, and find a way to inherit and innovate.

Exhibitor Kong Xianyong brought a total of 30 square seals of seal carving sketches, the content is selected from the book "Zen Poetry and Zen", the creation of more than three months before and after, the style of seal carving is changeable, the ancient seal, Qin seal, Han seal, Yuan Zhu, birds and insects, Huang Mufu seal wind and so on have many dabbles, the shape of the stone varieties is different, Qingtian, Shoushan, Bahrain, Changhua, Laos, Ya'an, etc. He strives to print naturally and variedly, and uses this as a brief expression of what he thinks and thinks.

Chen Xiejun, former director of the Shanghai Museum, Shan Guolin, researcher of the Shanghai Museum, Shan Guoqiang, researcher of the Palace Museum in Beijing, Tang Zheming, art historian, and Chen Hao, deputy director of the Cheng Shifa Art Museum, formed the academic team. This tour is the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Songjiang Artists Association, and it has unusual significance.
