In terms of electric drive technology, the new-generation model will be equipped with the sixth-generation BMW eDrive electric drive technology and cylindrical battery cells for the first time, achieving significant improvements in energy density, cruising range and charging speed.
The all-new electric MINI Aceman and the all-new electric MINI Cooper have been comprehensively upgraded in terms of vehicle center of gravity, four wheels, and power output.
It is reported that the new electric MINI Aceman combines the characteristics of the MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman, with a body size of 4076x1754x1515 mm, a wheelbase of 2606 mm, and a capacity of 5 passengers. With a 54.2 kWh battery, the CLTC has a range of up to 450 km. With an output of up to 160 kW, the electric motor produces a maximum torque of 330 Nm, and the vehicle can accelerate from zero to 100 in 7.3 seconds. At the fast charging station, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes.
In terms of human-machine interaction, the new-generation model will be equipped with the first-of-its-kind BMW panoramic vision bridge, which represents a quantum leap forward in head-up display technology. The new generation of models will adopt a new electronic and electrical architecture, an advanced "domain control" design, and an intelligent center composed of four "super brains" to enhance the intelligent driving experience and pure driving pleasure to a higher dimension.
The new MINI model launches 8 "MINI Experience Modes", which immerse users in the scene through the new MINI sound DNA, light and shadow. In "go-kart mode", the driving sound is like a high-pitched power output sound, while the car adjusts the power and chassis condition to be more racetrack-like.
In addition, the new family of new models continues the circular OLED central control screen, the diameter of which remains at 240 mm, and the operating system has an exclusive MINI user interface and application, and the interactive interface is highly adapted to the App.

In terms of appearance, the new BMW i4 headlight cluster has been adjusted compared to the current model, and the LED daytime running lights have been changed to two parallel inverted L-shapes, which look sharper. The front of the car is covered with a thick camouflage, but it can still be seen that the overall design of the front face is the same as the current model, and the large kidney grille is still used, and the details of the lower bumper have been adjusted.
The overall design of the side of the body remains the same as that of the current model, with a deflector at the rear of the front wheels. The new BMW i4 also gets a new taillight module with three slender "figure 7" light strips, which echo the front daytime running lights.
In terms of interior, the new BMW family-oriented design, with a through-type dual-screen design, a BMW-standard steering wheel, and the iDrive control system, each function is clearly divided. The interior continues the 12.3+14.9-inch integrated screen design, the flat-bottomed M sports steering wheel is replaced, the air conditioning vents are added with ambient lights, and the electronic gear lever, start button and iDrive knob are upgraded to crystal element decoration.
In terms of power, the new BMW i4 has a slight upgrade to the powertrain. The current eDrive35 is equipped with a single electric motor with a maximum output of 286 hp and a range of 511 km under the CLTC standard. The current eDrive40 is a single-motor with a maximum power of 340 hp and a range of up to 625 km under the CLTC standard. The i4 M50 has a maximum power of 544 hp and a maximum range of 560 km under the CLTC standard.
In addition, the new BMW i4 is also equipped with the BMWOperatingSystem 8.5 in-vehicle system.
On April 24, the BMW Group said that the BMW Group has delivered more than 1 million pure electric vehicles worldwide, nearly 22 million connected driving cars worldwide, and more than 7 million have remote upgrade capabilities. In 2024, the BMW Group will present more than 20 new BMW and MINI products.
According to the data, in 2023, the BMW Group delivered more than 2.55 million new vehicles in the global market, of which 375,000 were pure electric models, and achieved the target of about 15% of the group's total sales as planned.
In China, the BMW Group delivered more than 820,000 BMW and MINI brand vehicles, including nearly 100,000 BMW BEVs.
According to the plan, by 2030, BMW's electric vehicle sales will account for more than 50%.
