Pulian Town is one of the main producing areas of Eagle Tea in our county and has been rated as "the hometown of Chinese Eagle Tea". Song Huigang and his entourage successively came to the Eagle Tea Culture Park in Pulian Town, the Eagle Tea Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Hall and other places to learn more about the natural distribution of Eagle Tea Trees, the growth of thousand-year-old trees and the industrial development of our county by listening to reports, on-site inspections, on-site exchanges, etc. The inspection team said that Wuxi Eagle Tea is rich in resources, has huge market potential and broad development prospects, and should continue to make efforts in the protection of ancient tree resources, the integrated development of tea tourism, and the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage skills, so as to realize the revitalization of tea, the ecology of tea, and the increase of income with tea, so that tea has become a "cash cow" for the people.
At the Eagle Nursery Base in Yutian Village, Pulian Town, Song Huigang and his entourage also learned in detail about the variety, quantity and growth habits of eagle tea seedlings. The investigation team pointed out that seedling cultivation is the foundation for the development and growth of Wuxi Eagle Tea Industry in the future, and it is necessary to grasp the cyclical characteristics of Eagle Tea Tree Seedling, increase scientific research transformation, and cultivate high-quality seedlings according to local conditions. The China Economic Forestry Association will also actively perform its duties, make full use of the resources and platforms of the association, and give more policy support to Wuxi Eagle Tea in industrial planning, nursery base construction, improved seed breeding, brand building, research institution establishment, etc., and hope that Wuxi can continue to adhere to the road of green development and make every effort to build the golden sign of "the hometown of Chinese Eagle Tea".
