Before February 2018, Kang Guishu was a migrant worker and a technical backbone in the factory, with a monthly salary of about 20,000 yuan. Because his elderly parents needed to take care of him, he discussed with his wife Ou Xianqin to return to his hometown of Yinji Village, Mujiao Town, to start a business. "We have a lot of bamboo materials in our local area, so I want to make use of them. The materials are relatively close, and it is much more convenient to take materials on the spot than to go outside to buy materials. After discussing with my daughter-in-law, she also agreed, so I went to Zhejiang and other places to study, came back to build a factory, and then slowly studied and made bamboo craft products. Kang Guishu, who is not good at talking, talked about the process of entrepreneurship and development of bamboo handicraft processing.
The factory has been built, but the bamboo handicraft processing technology is difficult, what to do if there is no technology? The couple inquired about the bamboo handicraft processing training everywhere, as long as there is a training and learning opportunity, they will not let go once. However, training can only solve some simple and superficial things, and key technologies still cannot solve and break through. Therefore, they hired technical personnel to the factory for training, and processed and obtained technology in their own factories in the form of order cooperation and sharing. In April 2019, the cooperative re-expanded the processing plant with the support of county-level funds. In order to further enhance the market competitiveness, Ou Xianqin went to Zhejiang Suoshi Bamboo Industry Co., Ltd. for special technical training, and introduced advanced equipment and professional technical personnel from Zhejiang and Fujian, expanding the processing of bamboo products from simple handicrafts to the field of furniture. At the end of the year, Kang Guishu and his wife established Yunnan Xizhizhu Culture Technology Co., Ltd. on the basis of Daguan County Xuhong Breeding Farmers Professional Cooperative, with Ou Xianqin as the company's legal person, adopting the development model of "company + cooperative + branch + farmer", processing bamboo into beautiful and practical handicrafts for sale, increasing the added value of bamboo, realizing a breakthrough in the processing and development of Zhaotong bamboo bamboo, and effectively enhancing the reputation and popularity of Daguan bamboo products.
After 5 years of unremitting exploration, Kang Guishu and his wife rely on the "special" advantages of Xiaozhu, and the products produced by the company have developed from a single product to five types: cultural and creative tourism, furniture, tea culture, decoration and customization, and the orders cover Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Guangdong, Sichuan and other provinces and cities.
