In order to further strengthen the pharmaceutical management of the hospital, promote clinical standardization and rational drug use, improve the quality of medical care, and ensure medical safety, on the afternoon of April 24, Linwei District Maternal and Child Health Hospital held a meeting of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Management Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Pharmaceutical Affairs Committee) in the first quarter of 2024. Deputy Director Zhou Zhan, Chief of the Pharmacy Department Liu Juan, Chief of the Medical Department Yan Yingmin and all members of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Committee attended the meeting.
Liu Juan, chief of the Pharmacy Department, reported on the management of narcotic drugs, centralized procurement of drugs, reporting of adverse drug reactions, intensity of antimicrobial drug use, prescription reviews, high warning drugs, key monitoring drugs, and new drug selection in the first quarter of the hospital.
Yan Yingmin, chief of the medical department, reported on the problems existing in the hospital's pharmaceutical management in the last quarter, and put forward a strengthening plan for the procurement of new drugs and the use of narcotic drugs for the problems existing in the prescription of various clinical departments.
Zhou Zhan, vice chairman of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Committee, made an important speech. He affirmed the work achievements made in the past quarter, emphasized that pharmaceutical management is an important part of ensuring the safety of patients' medication and improving the quality of medical care, and put forward guiding ideas for the reporting of adverse reactions, the management of antimicrobial drugs, and the monitoring of key drugs in the future.
