The 75 years of the People's Republic of China: the rule of law

Red Story Painting - Defending the Family and Defending the Country|Comic Book "Hitting the Shop"

At the beginning of 1950, the remnants of the Kuomintang lurking in Guizhou colluded with the bully landlords, habitual bandits to break the army, and local ruffians and hooligans, spread rumors and deceive, or threatened the masses with force, and launched riots against the nascent people's power. After the Fifth Corps completed its main combat missions in Sichuan and Yunnan, the main force of the Corps moved to Guizhou and launched a large-scale struggle to suppress bandits. By the first half of 1953, the remnants of the Kuomintang counterrevolutionary forces had been basically eliminated, hidden dangers had been eliminated for the consolidation of people's political power at all levels in Guizhou, and obstacles had been cleared for the restoration and development of the national economy.

The comic strip "Hitting a Shop" depicts the battle story of the People's Liberation Army advancing to the border of Guizhou and Guizhou, staying overnight in a black shop on the way to chase down the remnants of the bandits, and destroying the bandits with fearless heroism, wit, and tenacity.
