In the past few days, at the construction site of the water damage repair of the K223+000-K224+000 section of the S211 line, the maintenance personnel of the Hanjiang Highway Sub-center are stepping up the repair of the road surface, side ditch, culvert and other facilities, comprehensively improving the road drainage capacity, and ensuring the safe and smooth operation of the road during the flood season.
It is reported that the pavement water damage repair project started from the three-way intersection near the highway station in Baisha Town, and finally near the fire station in Baisha Town, with a total length of 1 kilometer. Affected by the previous heavy rainfall, the right half of the road surface along the road section has broken plates, cracks, exposed, settlement, plate corner fractures and other diseases, affecting the safety and comfort of villagers and passing vehicles along the line.
In order to better meet the travel needs of the people, the Hanjiang Highway Sub-center plans to invest 1.75 million yuan to repair the road section, re-pave the cement concrete pavement and update the side ditches along the line to further improve the traffic safety facilities. At present, the project has completed 1,600 square meters of cement concrete pavement paving, and strives to complete all cement concrete pavement paving by the end of this month.
At present, it is the flood season, and the Hanjiang Highway Sub-center organizes maintenance personnel to increase the frequency of inspection of waterlogging road sections while doing a good job in highway maintenance, so as to eliminate potential safety hazards in a timely manner and ensure the safety and smoothness of national and provincial trunk roads in the flood season.
