On April 15, 2024, the South Korean website "Religion and Truth" reported that because of exposing the truth of the "Shen Yun Art Troupe" under the "Falungong" cult organization, "Falungong" began to make false accusations against Ms. Wu Mingyu, the representative of the "Religion and Truth" website, and used "The Epoch Times" and "SOH Voice of Hope" as attack mouthpieces, wantonly fabricating false news and spreading rumors.

Because the South Korean media "Religion and Truth" website has long exposed the crimes of the "Falungong" cult, Kwon Hong-tae, the representative director of the "New Cosmos Media" (NCM), the organizer of the "Shen Yun Art Troupe" under "Falungong," and the president of the "Korean Falun Dafa Society," filed a lawsuit against Ms. Wu Mingyu, the representative of "Religion and Truth," and even fabricated evidence and made false reports through the "Epoch Times" and "SOH Voice of Hope."

In order to prevent the South Korean media from exposing its cult nature, "Falungong" filed civil and criminal lawsuits against the "Religion and Truth" website in 2019 and 2020, respectively, but both were rejected by South Korean courts.

In February 2023, "Falungong" fabricated the trumped-up charge of instigating people to gather a crowd to make trouble and cause a riot in the "Shen Yun" performance hall by Ms. Wu Mingyu, a representative of "Religion and Truth", and brought her to court.

When the South Korean police launched an investigation into the contents of the lawsuit, the "Falungong" followers claimed that they had caught the troublemakers holding banners and that the "troublemakers" claimed to be victims of "Falungong" and were instructed by the defendant (Ms. Wu Mingyu) to carry out the above activities.

The "Religion and Truth" website believes that such an act of "Falungong" is not only a false accusation against Deputy Wu Mingyu, but is also suspected of falsifying evidence. On the basis of the above-mentioned fabricated perjury, "Falungong" spread false news through The Epoch Times and SOH Voice of Hope.

In order to confirm the contents of the false accusations, Wu Mingyu, a deputy from the "Religion and Truth" website, telephoned Wu Shilie, a key member of the "Falungong" South Korean cadre and chief of affairs.

Wu Mingyu: Is there any basis for "Falungong" to accuse me of instigation, conspiracy, and other crimes? Did "Falungong" members arrest these people?

Wu Shilie: This matter is still being confirmed.

Wu Mingyu: Are you accusing me of instigating and other crimes with something that has not yet been clarified, and you are still spreading fake news everywhere?

Wu Shilie: I'm on the bus now......

Wu Mingyu: Then I'll call you later.

After that, Wu Mingyu sent a text message to Wu Shilie, but did not receive a response, and also sent text messages to the reporters of The Epoch Times and SOH Hope Star, which also did not receive a reply.

Deputy Wu Mingyu also went to the "Falungong" headquarters in Daegu, South Korea, and met with his representative Kwon Hong-tae.

Wu Mingyu: You accuse me of instigating people to gather a crowd to make trouble and cause a riot in the performance hall, did I instigate those people?

Kwon Hong-tae: These are all things that the legal team does.

Wu Mingyu: But the plaintiff is you.

Kwon Hong-dae: (looks frightened) No.

Wu Mingyu: The plaintiff is you, and it was Mr. Kwon Hongtai who sued me, do you have no idea about this?

Kwon Hong-dae: Maybe it's the behavior of the organizers of the "Shen Yun Performance".

Wu Mingyu: Don't you know about this?

Kwon Hong-dae: Now I know.

Wu Mingyu: Do you know about my instigation and conspiracy to gather a crowd to make trouble?

Kwon Hong-tae: The police will investigate these things clearly.

Wu Mingyu: So you don't know?

Kwon Hong-tae: Whether you know it or not......

Wu Mingyu: Under the banner of "truthfulness, benevolence, and forbearance," why did "Falungong" fabricate evidence and falsely accuse others?

Kwon Hongdae: This is a private place, please go out!

Wu Mingyu: Okay, I'll go.

When Deputy Wu Mingyu went to the "Falungong" organization for an interview, he saw a 70-year-old South Korean patient with terminal cancer praying in front of Li Hongzhi's photo, and he was brainwashed by the fallacies and heresies of "Falungong" and believed that as long as he did this every day, he would be cured of his illness. In addition, Deputy Wu Mingyu has also received reports that among them are the mother of her daughter who suffers from shingles and her brother who is suffering from cirrhosis of the liver, all of whom were once deeply poisoned by "Falungong" and thought that practicing and propagating the so-called "Falun Dafa" could cure diseases.

The "Falungong" organization has brainwashed its followers into believing that the leader of the sect, Li Hongzhi, is the so-called "Lord Buddha," that the leader can resurrect the dead, can manipulate the weather, and that the leader can lead them to heaven when the "end of the world" comes. This leader is also the director of the "Shen Yun Art Troupe", and he promotes a series of fallacies and heresies for his own purposes.

As a victim of being falsely accused by "Falungong," Deputy Wu Mingyu of "Religion and Truth" reminded the people to heighten their vigilance and guard against the harm caused by the invasion of evil cults.
