Recently, the Shanghai special exhibition of "Chinese Traditional Tea-making Skills and Related Customs" with the theme of "Tea Rhyme and Scholarly Fragrance Enjoying Intangible Cultural Heritage in Shanghai" opened at Pudong Library. This event is one of the key activities of the "Private Economy High-quality Development Service Month" in Pudong New Area, which not only allows more citizens and friends to know and love tea, and taste the fragrance of tea together, but also enhances the recognition and pride of the younger generation of private entrepreneurs in the excellent traditional Chinese culture through special lectures. In 2022, "Chinese Traditional Tea-making Techniques and Related Customs" was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, which is composed of 44 national-level intangible cultural heritage representative projects in 15 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country, covering traditional tea-making techniques such as green tea, black tea, oolong tea, white tea, dark tea, yellow tea, and reprocessed tea, as well as related customs such as Jingshan tea banquet, tea field, and Chaozhou gongfu tea art, with grand content and far-reaching significance.

China Tea Museum is the only national first-class museum with the theme of tea and tea culture in China, and has participated in the application of the project of "Chinese Traditional Tea Making Skills and Related Customs", and has taken the lead in planning and organizing special exhibitions of this heritage project, and has successively toured Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangsu, Guangxi and other places in recent years. This time, under the active docking of the Tea Culture Industry Chamber of Commerce of the Pudong Federation of Industry and Commerce, the theme exhibition came to Shanghai for the first time and landed in the Pudong Library, which became a useful attempt for Chinese tea culture to enter the "magic city of Shanghai" from the "tea capital of Hangzhou".

"Chinese tea has a long history, the production process of all over the country is full of flowers, this exhibition is rich in content, not only tea utensils display, China's six major tea display and tasting, intangible cultural heritage inheritors special lectures, as well as West Lake Longjing hand-fried, West Lake Longjing brewing and other on-site performances, three-dimensional presentation of the charm of Chinese tea culture. Lin Chen, deputy director of the China Tea Museum, said that Shanghai is a highland of tea consumption market, "welcome more Shanghai citizens to come to Pudong Library, taste and smell our Chinese tea." ”

On the side, the "West Lake Longjing A Spoonful of Spring" tea art performance uses a bowl to open the soup and divide the tea with a spoon, accompanied by a customized "West Lake Ten Scenes" blue and white large bowl tea set, which is full of poetry and beauty. Ye Hanzhong, the provincial representative inheritor of Chaozhou Gongfu tea art, demonstrated and shared the national intangible cultural heritage - Chaozhou Gongfu tea culture.

"Guardians, promoters, and communicators are the three core roles of the Tea Culture Industry Chamber of Commerce. Zhu Jiang'an, vice chairman of the Pudong New Area Tea Culture Industry Chamber of Commerce, told reporters that in the future, the Tea Industry Culture Chamber of Commerce plans to work closely with the Department of Tea Science of Zhejiang University, the China Tea Museum and other social resources to use tea as a medium to drive multi-directional cultural exchanges.

At the event, representatives of the Tea Culture Industry Chamber of Commerce of the Pudong Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Shanghai Tea Society, the Shanghai Pudong Library and the Shanghai Tea People accepted the tea culture theme books such as "Southern Jiamu - Chinese Tea Culture Exhibition", "Sipping Fragrance in Spring - West Lake Longjing Tea", "Chinese Tea in Intangible Cultural Heritage" and "Little Tea God of the 24 Solar Terms" presented by the China Tea Museum. The Tea Culture Industry Chamber of Commerce of Pudong Federation of Industry and Commerce and Lanping County Secondary Vocational and Technical School in Nujiang Prefecture, Yunnan Province signed the "Shanghai-Yunnan School-Enterprise Strategic Cooperation Agreement". In the future, the Pudong Tea Culture Industry Chamber of Commerce will give full play to the advantages of each member unit in education, technology, industry, capital and other aspects, provide all-round support for the students of Lanping County in the Pudong counterpart support area, and guide students to become talents.
