For example, what I found is that break dancing requires not only a certain degree of skill, creativity and performance, but also a sense of musicality. That is to say, the dance movements should be perfectly coordinated with the music, and the rhythm of the music and the body movements should be coordinated with each other and the rhythm should be unified.
But in fact, the music and hip-hop movements in the movie are not very relevant and coordinated, they are dynamic music played to create an explosive atmosphere, and then there are cool and explosive hip-hop movements, each fighting for itself, which is extremely discordant.

But this kind of cool story setting is not convincing and universal, and the realistic theme connotations that the whole film wants to convey such as "you will succeed if you work hard", "fight to the end with your dreams", "believe in your dreams and believe in your dreams" and other realistic themes will also become a cold chicken soup with no enthusiasm and only cold because of the distortion of the story.
Then there is that neither the main characters nor the secondary characters have a complete story line and character arc.
Why is Ding Lei obsessed with winning the national championship, and what is the origin of his hip-hop dream? Why does Chen Shuo teach himself hip-hop dance but can make rapid progress if he has divine help? Does Kevin regard hip-hop as a dream, and why can he shine without practicing? Exclamation Point: What kind of life pursuits and real life do the other team members have? How did Chen Shuo's uncle become the somewhat insane he is now?
From Kevin returning to the exclamation mark with the national champions, to Ding Lei's decision to completely leave Kevin's control and regain Chen Shuo, the process in between only relied on Ding Lei to look at a few photos and a few trainings, which was really a bit sloppy.
Ding Lei, who has been fighting hard for most of his life in order to win the national championship, naturally knows that choosing Kevin has a better chance of winning the championship, so how did he finally give up this greater possibility and instead take the risk of using newcomers to compete? The film does not explain the reason clearly, which is also a real epitome of the unclear, vague, and brush-off of the whole film.
Too many questions have been ignored and filtered, leaving only street dance performances that simply show off their skills and create emotions, which are warm, lively, and burning enough and enthusiastic enough, but they just lack the accumulation and foreshadowing of that emotion.
