I chose to come to Shiyi Village, Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang, Sichuan Province to be a member of the village loudspeaker, mainly because of my yearning for "cottage on the clouds". Passion and simplicity are its character, and ancient and mysterious are its labels. The beautiful mountains and rivers, the clouds and mist, coupled with the unique Qiang customs, made me want to unveil it and find out.

After stepping into the gate of the village, around the bonfire, people danced the circle group dance with the characteristics of the Qiang nationality - sirloin.

In the Qiang language, "sirloin" means "to sing and dance", and to the melodious music, the dancers shake their hands and shoulders, and their steps are leaping and cheerful. Among the crowd, there was a girl who was particularly eye-catching, wearing a purple Qiang characteristic gown and a black vest embroidered with beautiful flowers, and her smile and smile vividly interpreted the ethnic customs.
After the passionate dance, the girl began to perform the unique folk musical instrument of the Qiang region. The mouth string has been included in the national list of intangible cultural heritage. It is indeed a novelty that a musical instrument like a small bamboo tube can make such a beautiful sound by blowing it with a hand-pulled mouth.

In the process of reconstruction, the farmhouse was combined with the inheritance and development of local Qiang culture, and the development model of "one household, one garden, one scene, connecting the dots into a piece, and the four seasons are picturesque" was adopted to create "the first Qiang village in western Sichuan".
Since then, Shiyi Village has begun to rely on the beautiful ecological environment and rich Qiang folk culture to form a Qiang cultural performance team and inherit and promote the intangible cultural heritage. Wang Jing became associated with the Qiang musical instrument mouth string. She recalled that Shiyi Village began to promote Qiang culture and built a Qiang village, and teachers who could perform mouth strings and Qiang flutes were inherited and displayed in the village, and it was only then that she really understood mouth strings. Slowly, Wang Jing will play the mouth strings herself, and the tourists learn about the mouth strings from her, and she and the tourists will pass it on by word of mouth, which is particularly meaningful.
Shiyi Village has also developed a variety of tourism projects such as Qiang folk customs experience and tea culture research, where tourists can immerse themselves in the life of ethnic minority villages. The Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County Ethnic Art Troupe was also established after the Wenchuan earthquake, and the start-up funds came from Shandong Province, which supported Beichuan County. Since then, the rich art forms of the Qiang nationality have begun to be brought to the whole country and the world by art troupes. Yang Huawu told me that the art troupe has traveled to Germany, South Korea and other countries, and performed leather drums, Qiang flutes, mouth strings, and sirloin.
The Qiang Scene Song and Dance "Yu Qiang Tribe" uses intangible cultural heritage such as "Qiang embroidery" and "Qiang Year" as elements, and uses holographic projection and other methods to organically integrate the most important sacrificial ritual activities of the Qiang people's life into the scene. Yang Huawu's art troupe performs at least 500 performances of such scene songs and dances every year. The troupe currently has more than 70 performers and staff, and has absorbed hundreds of people for employment.
With its strong Qiang folk customs, good ecological environment, and rich agricultural tourism experience, Shiyi Village receives 200,000 tourists annually and has an annual tourism income of 10 million yuan.
