The "Let's Run, Youth" theme activity, which runs throughout the year and continues to be carried out, is a series of sports and fitness activities jointly created by the Nanjing Sports Bureau and the Nanjing Municipal Education Bureau for children and young people in 2024. At the opening ceremony, Yuan Fang, principal of the First Central Primary School of Qinhuai District, Nanjing, delivered a welcome speech, Jiang Fan, the champion of the 110-meter hurdles of the Asian Championships in Athletics, made a message for the champion, and Lu Puxin, a first-level researcher of the Municipal Education Bureau, announced the opening of the event. At the end of the event, seven teams from Nanjing Qinhuai District First Central Primary School, Nanjing Wuding Xincun Primary School, Nanjing Yixin Garden Primary School, Nanjing Ruijin Road Primary School, Nanjing Foreign Chinese School Mingyuan Primary School, Nanjing Baixia High-tech Primary School and Nanjing Jiaying Primary School held a fun track and field relay race to push the event to a climax.
