Li Poor graduated from the Department of Journalism of Fudan University in Shanghai, China, majored in photography, graduated from the China Advanced Photography Research Class, and completed the School of Photographic Arts at New York University in the United States. He is a director of the Chinese Art Photography Society and a member of the Royal Photographic Society. Many of his photographic works have won awards in many competitions such as the International Press Photo Contest and the National Press Photo Contest, and his photographic works have been published in many domestic authoritative media such as People's Daily. The personal feature documentary "The Story of Li Poor" was broadcast on CCTV Channel 10's "Telling" column. He once held a solo exhibition of "Pingwu in the Eyes of Li Poor" at the China Millennium Monument. Many of his essays have been published in domestic journals and magazines and won awards.
