The G580 is a pure electric G-class off-road vehicle that continues the classic square box shape of the G-class, equipped with 4-wheel motor technology, CLTC cruising range of 570km, and has a number of off-road modes such as one-key heavy off-road mode, intelligent off-road crawling mode, steering rear wheel lock, G-Turn in-situ U-turn, etc.

The grille of the pure electric G-class off-road vehicle has been changed to a closed design, with light strip decoration on the outside and inside, round headlight clusters on both sides, and an external spare tire or a small school bag at the rear of the car, the latter is a storage box for charging cables and other items. The new car provides G-class exclusive sound waves, supporting a variety of sound effects, accompanying scenarios such as getting on, getting off, parking, and starting the vehicle.

The interior of the pure electric G-class off-road vehicle is basically the same as that of the fuel version, with a 12.3-inch dual-screen design, a new generation of two-wing steering wheel, and a second-generation MBUX operating system. The original "three locks" position has been replaced with three buttons: G-STEERING steering function, low-speed off-road gear, and G-Turn in-place turning function.

The all-electric G-Class features a sturdy trapezoidal frame with double wishbone suspension at the front and wading depths of 850mm. The new model is equipped with a four-wheel motor technology and a two-speed transmission, with a maximum output of 432 kW, a maximum torque of 1,164 Nm, and a top speed of 180 km/h, and a 116 kW·h battery pack with a CLTC range of 570 km.
