Safe drinking water is the basic guarantee of people's health. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stressed the need to "put the protection of people's health in a strategic position of priority development". The party and the government attach great importance to the safety and security of drinking water, and the ninth meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th Provincial People's Congress will review the "Jiangsu Provincial Regulations on the Supervision of Drinking Water Sanitation (Draft)" in May this year.
