　　On April 23, CNMO learned that according to digital blogger "Jia Jinghua", multiple sources have confirmed that it is expected that a number of new machines equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen4 mobile platform will be released in early November, and are expected to catch up with the Double 11 promotion. In other words, compared with last year, the release time of flagship models of major brands this year will be earlier.

　　It is reported that the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 mobile platform will use TSMC's advanced 3nm process technology for the first time, marking the official entry of Android smartphones into a new era of 3nm technology. Previously, Apple has pioneered the adoption of the 3nm process, and its A17 Pro chip has been installed on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

　　TSMC has carefully planned five different versions for the 3nm process, including N3B, N3E, N3P, N3S, and N3X. Among them, N3B, as TSMC's first 3nm process node, has been adopted by A17 Pro. Qualcomm plans to use the more advanced second-generation 3nm process - N3E in its Snapdragon 8 Gen4 chip. Compared with N3B, N3E has better power consumption, higher yield and lower production cost.

　　It is worth mentioning that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will use the self-developed Nuvia architecture, abandoning the previous dependence on the Arm public architecture, however, according to the "Digital Chat Station", although the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 performs well in performance, due to its high frequency setting, the power consumption problem still needs to be solved. It is expected that the frequency may be adjusted to reduce power consumption at the time of actual mass production.
