New majors will be added in 2024
1. "Overseas Interests Security": The Overseas Interests Security major belongs to the state-controlled distribution major, which is the first major in China to train overseas interests and security professionals, and the first major in China to train overseas interests and security professionals.
This is to fully implement the national "One Belt, One Road" strategy, "to ensure a new development pattern with a new security pattern", to adapt to the rapid growth of the mainland's overseas interests of the real development needs and the severe test of the environment of the times, to meet the central ministries and commissions and overseas business, security, trade enterprises for professional talents, and the establishment of this major.
The major aims to cultivate students with good political quality, systematically master the basic knowledge and main skills of overseas interests and security, be familiar with the basic theories and research methods of national security and international politics, the history and current situation of major regions and countries in the world, and the basic legal knowledge related to foreign-related jurisprudence, have strong strategic analysis ability, problem-solving ability and high English proficiency, and be able to communicate with one or two foreign languages (French, Russian, Arabic, Spanish or one) at the same time.
2. "Artificial Intelligence": In addition to highlighting the solid foundation of professional courses, the new artificial intelligence major also highlights the characteristics of artificial intelligence + in the training program, on the one hand, it attaches importance to the integration of artificial intelligence and interdisciplinary disciplines, cultivates compound talents, and opens a social computing wisdom law On the other hand, it highlights practical education, adds the link of artificial intelligence and experimental training, and cultivates students' hands-on ability and artificial intelligence + innovative thinking through joint experimental courses with relevant units.
In 2024, the political landscape requirements will be adjusted
Judging from the current plan, Article 19 of the regulations has adjusted the requirements for the political appearance of candidates, retained the requirements for candidates' political literacy, increased the restrictions on violations of laws and disciplines, and canceled the formal requirements for the identity of league members. That is to say, from 2024 onwards, whether it is a member of the party or the masses, as long as the political conditions meet the requirements of our school, they can apply for our school. The specific situation is subject to the 2024 enrollment regulations, which will be reviewed and released by the Ministry of Education in early May.
Elective subjects
The 13 majors of the college are divided into four categories, unlimited course selection, subject politics, subject history + politics, subject physics + chemistry, and language majors require English language, and other professional languages are not limited, but all require good English proficiency and the ability to study bilingual courses.
Employment status
When students graduate from the bachelor's degree, they can choose to continue their studies, go abroad, or choose their own career for the society. The school provides a full range of services for graduates, actively expands employment channels, and carries out merit-based recommendation to state organs, foreign affairs departments, news media, large and medium-sized enterprises, education and scientific research units. Most of our graduates work in state agencies, foreign-related enterprises and institutions, news media, education and scientific research departments.
