In the cultural corridor channel with the theme of "Marine Power" in this exhibition, the domestic large-scale cruise ship "Aida Modu", the 10,000-meter manned submersible "Struggler" developed by the mainland, the world's largest and most advanced ultra-deepwater double-rig semi-submersible drilling platform "Blue Whale 2" designed and manufactured by the mainland, the first ultra-deepwater ocean research drilling ship "Dream", and the first catapult aircraft carrier "Fujian" completely independently designed and manufactured by the mainland and other major scientific and technological achievements "hard core" The appearance is not only a review of the brilliant achievements of the mainland's marine industry, but also a prospect and encouragement for future development.
As a national "double first-class" construction university characterized by the development of talent training and scientific research in the fields of aviation, aerospace and navigation, Northwestern Polytechnical University has made breakthroughs in a number of key core technologies in the fields of underwater weapons, underwater acoustic engineering, underwater vehicles, and marine engineering, providing strong support for the construction of a maritime power. The corridor also displayed the mainland's first-generation hoisting sonar, manta ray soft body submersible, and 50 kg autonomous underwater vehicle independently developed by Northwestern Polytechnical University, each of which reflects the crystallization of scientific and technological innovation and wisdom of the people of Xi'an Polytechnical University. Among them, Northwestern Polytechnical University has successfully developed the first generation of hanging sonar in mainland China, filling the domestic technology gap. The sliding-flapping integrated autonomous deformation bionic soft body submersible developed by Northwestern Polytechnical University can realize long-range, long-endurance and high-maneuverability underwater navigation. The 50-kilogram autonomous underwater vehicle developed by Northwestern Polytechnical University can perform tasks such as underwater environment monitoring, terrain and geomorphological observation, target detection, and underwater communication, and has achieved industrial production and is widely used in hydrological survey, marine exploration and other fields. The successful development of this vehicle marks a breakthrough in the core technology of the mainland in the field of micro-small underwater vehicles, and it has completely independent intellectual property rights. Since then, the research and application of the mainland's micro-miniature underwater vehicle technology has also reached the international advanced level, and it has entered the ranks of "few countries".
